HOW TO: Creating a RaceEvent with Paid Content

Creating a RaceEvent and Hosting with paid content from the item store:
If you are hosting with SteamCMD dedicated server please also see this thread.

The procedure for making a RaceEvent is the same as with free content - with one exception

Make a RaceEvent by following this Guide

When choosing the car in Step 4 - Adding Tracks and Cars make sure and only select the update version.

For example with the McLaren you will have v100 and v101 installed.

Select only v101 in the track selection window.

Then proceed to finish up the RaceEvent as you normally would.

And that's it

I am using Noel's GetMod Manager and was unable to get Rouen to show on the track list when creating the mod. I ended up using Sebring as the test track instead.

Hello everyone.

thank you for some of the great post helping with the server. I had issues running SteamCMD so just bought the game for a server, so now i have a server that works.
Today i decided to buy the DLC for server and my machine. I do the 1.01 car choice in the MAS2 program and that works fine, however when i run the server and select my mod, it shows vehicle blank.

I did notice when it installed the car in rF2, it does 1.0 first then fails on 1.01 saying its already installed. Looking in the folders i see the 1.0 folder has 4 files while 1.01 only has 2.

Anyone else have the issue of a solution for me?
Would love to be able to run this car and the upcoming Gt3 cars in a server.

Just to clarify...

I create the MAS2 file part fine if I only select the Mclaren 650s 1.01, if i select both i get a error about duplicate files, but I have read we must only use 1.01, so create the with only 1.01 and it creates. I then open the server and select my file and then vehicle selection comes up and is blank.

I bought it in store, then authorized it. Then i opened rF2 and it did its workshop ync and downloads it. It did give the "component already installed / mclaren_650S_GT3_2017 1.01" error though, showing 1.0 was fine.

I can still play and can still join other servers with it no problem!

I am running the server on DX9, updated it to DX11 now to see if thats a issue.

That made no difference. Uploaded the issue, server mas2 part is don but dedicated server sees no cars when loading.

Well it gave that error, but files are there, 1.0 folder has 4 files and 1.1 has 2 files.
I tried doing a verify, which said 2 files changed or updated. No change though.

ok it doesn't look like you have the unlock keys loaded, this server is using the World icon from the Launcher?

You have lost me lol...what is the unlock keys or how do i activate that?
Server using icon from launcher yes so its running the dedicated bin64 file.
