That Site won't let me download. Please put the rfmod into a *.zip File and then you can upload it directly here in the Forum.
Unfortunatly the file is too big Do you know an alternative method i can use to send this file to you ?
Can it be that you packaged the Track and all Cars into the rfmod? That is not necessary. When you create the rfmod, don't check the 2 Checkboxes on the below shown Screenshot!
Ok i'm definitely a noob. Sorry. So i create a new mode with only 1 track and 1 car. Is it ok for you like this ?
@Aslak I still get "Invalid Server Details...". Did you open all for rFactor 2 necessary Ports in your Router and made a Port- Forwarding too? And ensure that no Anti Virus Software is blocking anything.
I did what I could with my ISP's interface (Orange with a LiveBox 4), but I will try to check and I will confirm. I have a doubt about port forwarding. Do you know a method that allows you to check that the ports are open and that Port Forwarding is correct? From my point of view, and after a double check, my antivirus does not lock anything.
It's hard to find out for me what the Problem is, without to have the Machine directly in Front of me. @Joel.Brown Did mention a helpful Tool in THIS Post. Maybe it also worths it, to read the whole Thread. EDIT I'm offline for a While now
Ok thank you very much for the link ! Of course it's very difficult without having access to the PC I will check all this as soon as I leave work and I will come back to give you news. Thanks again
I've set a static IP for my PC and modified the port forwarding, i think it's ok now. View attachment upload_2023-12-15_15-0-23.png I've tried to verify with udp test tool 3.0, but i'm not sure to understand how it works : View attachment upload_2023-12-15_14-49-19.png I think i should get something in the right window. I don't understand what's going wrong. EDIT 1: Using https://canyouseeme.org : View attachment upload_2023-12-15_15-37-58.png The problem should be here i think, but i don't know how to solve it. EDIT 2: I've checked if my french ISP (Orange) provides a full stack Ipv4, and yes it does.
I'm not going to guarantee this is correct for your specific Livebox model but it seems that earlier versions didn't support NAT Loopback. I had to enable this on my router ( not a Livebox ) for it to work properly. You might need to look at installing the Microsoft Loopback Adaptor on your PC?
@Aslak I just wanted to try to join your Server again, but it is offline. @trichens As far as i know, the NAT Loopback Functionality is normally not necessary, if you want to join the Server on your own Machine. You can do that by a direct Link Shortcut with the IP 127.0.0.1
Hi guys, i didn't get the new message notification @trichens i've installed Microsoft Loopback Adaptor @redapg sorry i stopped the server. It's now online EDIT : WOW! I was so desperate that I didn't even attempt to connect to my server before sending the message. It seems to work!! I see it in the community server list, and apparently I managed to join it. Can you also confirm that it works on your side?
I uninstalled and deleted the Server Mod from my Machine, to check if the rfmod Download works too and it works too.
@redapg Thank you VERY VERY MUCH !! And thank you too @trichens !! I'll try some other track and vehicule configuration. I'm so happy! I'll be able to race with my son, so nice !! I really hope this topic will help some others !
I can connect but the combination of car and track doesn't work properly. Tested in single user off-line and it's still "broken". I'd suggest using the Portland track which does work OK with that car.
