Yes, I can't believe custom championships are not a prerequisite for any racing game. Only GSC (and DTM...) get it right. Race 07 and TOCA 3 are starting to be a bit old. xD

Gave it a go with the T5 URD mod, and it was a blast. Well done so far! When its complete, if it's given the same care it's got so far, it'll be one of the best in rF2 for sure!

If you're getting 40FPS in rF2, you have enough. I think people obsess over frame rates too much. People tell all the time that my settings are too high for a 760 driving 3 monitors. Funny thing is, it's plenty enough according to my eye, I don't pat attention to frame rates.

The exception is sometimes smoke and dust cause my system to go slideshow (Leinz before the latest update!)

Look superb Tommy but as there are AI issues already noted then I'll await v1.0.

Not so when running a 60Hz display like me.

i agree, even when mine drops out to 55fps, it is noticeable to me and becomes really distracting. lots of stuttering below 60fps

is this perhaps to do with using vsync and the frames dropping below the frame cap?

I don't drop below 60fps since getting a 780 a few months back! But when I had my 7950 (and 7850 before that) I had to use vsync and drop the graphics settings to ensure 60fps as much as possible. I couldn't bear the stuttering and screen tear when going below 60, whether it be regular or adaptive vsync. I don't care about the vsync induced input lag, I just want smoothness.

60fps is essential for me now. Anything less looks a bit jarring.
