Released Formula E Gen2 + Lester Special Edition!

It's impossible to race against AI except if you set Fuel Use to None; if it's set on Normal AI doesn't start the race.

I've found also the back light is always off; it should be on when throttle is pressed and blinking as the driver brakes as it's recovering energy.

And the rear brake discs are red hot for too long time; there're no Formula E tracks where they don't keep red for the whole lap.

It will be any way to have an Attack Mode being activated two times in a race when driving over a precise area, as it happend with DRS?

I had little hope with this kind of cars. I personally find it a crime race with cars that do not use dinosaur juice.
And what a surprise, is super fun to drive, that extra power compared to gen1 allows you to correct understeer with pure powerslides :P.
When the new UI and the system of competitions are done and deployed, I hope that they organize races with this car!

Fun car and track but hate the tires. Just as with the GT3s, they give absolutely no grip or slide feeling.
It's as bad as when iRacing was as it's worse and everyone chanted "iceRacing" it . I'm not saying that there is something wrong with rF2, just these recent tires models are just crap.

To my knowledge, the tire model is by far the best of the simulations, and I personally find it much much better than the previous tire models on rF2.
Very much better.

I rely mainly on the feeling to say that.

Moreover, the feeling of the GT3 or this FE seems fantastic to me and the heating of tires seem rather coherent.

Perhaps check your FFB settings !

Finding keeping temperature in the tires impossible with these cars? GT3, GTE and LMP cars are completely fine with great feedback though.

My FE overheats and sometimes the engine breaks at 225 and 250 kW.

I put the radiator tape 100% and it persists.

An advice ?

If you put the radior tape at 100% it usualy means that the radiator is fully closed. That's atleast how it works in other cars. Haven't checked the FE and most likely never will, but be sure to check that you have the radiator fully open and not fully closed.

The F3 Eve doesn't like the Special Edition Lester's railroad crossing, results in collision with ??? if car is in wrong place. Other official formula cars I've tested have no problems.

Well TM is the dark magic art of all race sims.
I have the FFB dialed in very well. There are other cars in rF2 that are just perfect and where I feel the slip through the wheel. So it’s definately the tire model.
Running on a OSW so it really can provide the feeling.
The problem seems more that there are only forces that gets through to the wheel, no road texture. I’m not critizising how the TM works with wear or heat, but the feeling it provides from the tarmac.

maybe your "osw" is set up wrong... just sayin?

Then why would other cars like the URDs or other older cars in rF2 that does not have the new TM, feel as they should.
Do a slide with the GT3 s or Formula E and try to convince me that you feel any texture.

The track is awesome, the cars feel pretty good, but I do have problems with the sound especially when using headphones. This high whistling sound is driving me nuts. I need to turn down the sound effects to 10%. The 2018 cars sound much better for my liking.

I ran the old fe cars at Lester and apart from the odd pile up, to be expected... they're were OK Really.
