[WIP] F1 1986

Work in progress video.
Sorry for quality but i'm a crap video encoder ;)

WHat i'm doing now is this :
- New and working AIW path for the whole 1986 season tracks and 1988
( 2 other tracks used for 86 season from other source, will contact them also ;) )
- New cameras for all of the two seasons.
- Talent files for all drivers
- Reshade and sweet fx presets (It's in use in this video)

When finished, i will contact you and other autors to propose a complet season package 86/88 season.
My humble contribution can be understand as a whole post production of your mods.
It's necessary to put them in the sun and make them shine ;)

Stay tuned ;)
 
Its impossible to drive with max turbo or im disable? seems like AI is using all the time the turbo so I cant catch them. You use it like a kers with the temporary boost button?

Do you change the starting grid and pit position for Montreal (as F179)? :) And Osterreichring (from F179) ? :) And Brands Hatch :D ?
It is a cool project :)

My work is nearly finished now and ready for a release.
BUT, i need two last agreement.
One from @senormen and another @carrera.4.
If anybody know one of them, please send them a message to look at my proposition ;)

I will create a new thread when completely done with a short video.
Hope i'm not taking to much place in this one ;)

I've gone further in this work than expected and my wife is loosing a bit of her patience now lol but i'ts worth it ;) :p

Bit of a long shot but does anyone know if the boost pressure widely quoted for the BMW cars (5.5 bar) is referencing absolute or relative boost?

Solved: I've had a few sources confirm that the real cars gauges were showing absolute pressure i.e, 4.5 bar above atmospheric maximum.

Absolutely love this mod. I am thinking of doing a full season series for my channel but noticed that when I start in practice, I'm just about in the top 6 comfortably in the benetton. But in qualifying, I place the quality tires on, but I'm around 5 seconds of the AI and I'm automatically last ( I do improve my time compared to practice by over a second and the AI is set to 96% strength ). Is there something I'm missing in setup for qaulifying? Sorry to be a pain.

You probably need to set the qualifying engine in upgrades. But then you can't run that in the race because it won't last and I don't think you can change it during the event.

From what I've read, you're probably better off setting up 2 practice sessions and using the 2nd one as qualifying to set the grid when using AI.

Thanks for the response. That's the thing, I've gone into tuning and the only thing is the Visor mod and nothing else, no qualifying engine. But I'll try the idea of the practice being the qualifying. Cheers.
