[REL] F1 1979 HISTORIC EDITION 2.02 BY POSTIPATE

@Mauro @Postipate Thanks for the replies. It was quite some time ago, but I remember the readme alone frightened me. They said they changed the physics, and they finally lost me when I saw that they removed cars.
Considering this, I didn't bother going further than the showroom (so I certainly missed the updated graphics), because someone who removes cars this way definitely can't be doing a good job :p

A beautiful Lotus 79 onboard in revival event at Laguna Seca.
Lot of correction and trottle lift. But much fun :)

Some criticize a mod (free work, hours, days and months dedicated to a passion of the simulators)
Asked them:
How many mods did you make or did you convert?...to criticize as an expert!
Download the mod?
Test it?

Okay...So that enables you to criticize something, without having tested it!
"Congratulations, you're an expert"
I don't think I claimed to be an expert, you're the one sarcastically calling me one. I asked a simple question to the people working on the mod, they replied, it's the point of a forum.
Next try you try the "how many mods did you make", you'll look less silly if you make sure the guy you ask indeed never modded before.

Ok, just tried to join the server with 1966 Monte Carlo, download starts, then stops, says "Bad File Discriptor", what up with that ?

Ok, thanks Ari, again if anyone wants to convert them, I have all 15 79' rF1 tracks zipped up, be happy to send them they looked quite good in rF1.

"With only Ferrari and Renault on Michelin tires, Villeneuve was able to use seven sets of qualifiers in the final session, while the Goodyear runners had only two sets per car. On his final charge, Villeneuve switched off his rev limiter at the end of the straight, raising the revs by 200 to 12,600 and giving him enough extra speed to pip Reutemann by six hundredths of a second. Scheckter was third, ahead of the two Ligiers of Patrick Depailler and Jacques Laffite, then Mario Andretti in sixth."

Quite badass :)
