Would like to see a full transmission model , but I guess it will be a long time before it's done . At the moment it's like great physics , amazing tyre model , arcade shifting .
when we enter in a server and we need some circuit, rf2 gives us the opportunity to search the missing content online. Do you could add the option to search in our hard drive? Do you could add an option to remember passwords for servers and servers that use more and not have to be looking for them n the list? When do they work properly the search filters are heading? now do not work
See what the guy who built the grinding tranny mod for rf1 did. Great implementation without force feedback.
Very nice, but it is not realistic. I can still force my G27 shifter into gear slot no matter what the plugins are.
Going around a turn at 180km per hour I don't feel my head being pulled by g-forces either... within reason the grinding tranny mod is great.
But if we compare a proper FFB steering wheel, it hard to turn left when all the forces pull it to the right. G-forces and and mechanical vehicle controllers has nothing to do with each other.
In a 60's F1 car bad down shifts should cause you to spin but in rF dropping from 5th to 3rd at 100% throttle with no clutch just makes the car slow down and it changes fast and cleanly . Don't need force feedback just a transmission model that works .
+1 wider range to adjust is what I mean or even better to adjust with free move and it saves the position after a key press.
Suggestion - Rename the "REALROAD" option in the race settings menu to "TRACK CONDITION" The name of the feature is well known now but in game "track condition" makes more sense especially if you are new to rF2 IMHO.
so, we have a RC build 450 .... AND.... a PRO KART Championship in Quebec VERY NICE !! View attachment 11639
Reading up on Superkarts, it sounds like they are built to race on full-size circuits, like Silverstone or Laguna Seca, rather than smaller kart-size tracks. I wonder (and I'm really just throwing hope to the wind here) if the Quebec track they are testing is actually an unlicensed Gilles-Villenueve replica? I doubt it, but it would be awesome.
