nightrider01 said: ↑ Er AI keep running out of fuel and also running a 2 hour race last night with gt2 vettes when it's time for the AI to pit [well the ones that arn't park up at the side of the track with no fuel] a couple of them stop on the track just after the last turn before the pit lane, which then creates a car park, which then brings out the safety car, which then leads to forever driving round on the caution lap cause the race never goes green....so yeah thanks for WASTING 2 hours of my time with this BUGGY RUBBISH!!....really no one forces you to makes these mods so try testing them before you release them to at lest make sure they kind of work first!!!" Congrats on your positive contribution and selfless commitment to the improvement of rFactor2 and our hobby. Your helpful and classy comments have inspired me for the first time to see if it is possible to ignore a user on this board so I must thank you.
"Show some respect please, Modders work tirelessly to create items for our enjoyment. Should you find a bug post about it in a constructive & polite manner and you'll get the respect back, ranting about it like a spoilt brat won't get you anything in return. Sure bugs can be frustrating at times but they happen - in every game". "Hey dude u dont have a clue how much work in modding a track is needed ,and how much tests are needed for checking everything with all types of cars that are available. And sometimes are the cars the problem and not the track. well, only thing can say when i see in what a manner u are posting here, u are an idiot !! . and better next time u think before u post. Every modder needs respect for the work". Ok ok maybe I was a bit harsh with my words, posted this early this morning and was still a bit pi**ed about wasting 2hours of my gaming time, don't get a lot of time to play games so any time I get is precious......so "apologies" to the track maker and thanks to the community for not being to hard on me with your comments lol. Just tried a quick 35min race with the nissan gt350z gt3 cars and the AI are pitting whereas I have plenty of fuel and tyre life and have no need to pit which then puts me 40 odd seconds ahead at the end of the race, although from the lack of comments about these probs on here and "steam workshop" no one else seems to be having these problems??? shame though cause this is a stunning track and love driving it
The AI is probably just starting the race with less fuel than you. Check it in the log analyzer and dump some fuel in your car to even the playing field.
Learn how to setup a 2 hours AI race first! - Ignorance led you to this kind of comment ignoring all work behind the modder creation!! - Ignorance made you act like someone that think only in himself and doesn´t really have a brain to understand beyond your personal needs ! I really hope that you understand what ignorance really means in your case?! I´m afraid it´s really only ignorance!
Yes, that was not the best entry into this forum... Forgive them this user! He must be very alone... two hours of racing Offline on Croft. Punishment enough! "The thread is Croft Circuit UK updated v1.01 by senormen." Please smile... Cheers!
Nice U turn . . . not . . . Got any more insightful nuggets of wisdom to share with us lesser beings ?
We should be thankful for every track and mod. We have the ability to uninstall tracks we don't like. So.feel free to uninstall it and let us enjoy a great track and a great collaboration of some talented guys.
Time to move back to the topic. Great track, well put together, a hoot to drive. I spent a lot of time driving this in the early days of rF2. Any updates are just a bonus.
July 17th, 2012... I will never forget the great time of the beginning! https://forum.studio-397.com/index....t-update-2013-04-10.29537/page-13#post-484746 Thanks to all who keep this simulation running. rFactor2 is not a game to play... it is a simulation that you drive. For me the best racing simulation! Best regards...
When you have rF2 loaded to main menu go into 'Session Settings'. On the left hand side you'll see the option 'Finish Criteria'. Cycle though these options until you get to 'Time' then go up to 'Race Time' and set your race length. If your wishing to run a 24hr race I'd thoroughly recommend a read of this - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=560374563
