Hi Jeremy, all,

Sounds great.

I'm trying to get all the people from 3 leagues to be involved in this test.

We will probably setup a simple mod including only ISI content, attempt to crash the 1st league server, then if it crashes, test the other 2 leagues's servers reproducing the crash. If it still crashes : we'll test on your server as soon as it is setup.

Loch Drummond + CLIOs RS seems to be the mod we will run for this test.

Comming back ASAP with some news on this test.

EUROSIM has got an event tonight and it hanged one time for the moment :

1 hour practice then at the session change it hanged again, it's 8:50pm. Their championship race begins at 9pm.

I see with them if their championship hangs after 9pm and we'll do the tests already discussed.

Is your server ready just in case ?

 

Is it possible that a player can crash the server?
There should be one returned by the players on the server. (are scored in the championship, for example)
Until the server crashes

 

ISI 342 DEBUG is a debug server running the content that is full build (ie it should all be auto downloaded). Do your worst.

EDIT: I just saw the request for clios on loch i will make the change if/when the server empties out.

Yep, I restarted to make the change to Clio on Lock Drummond. Please note this is a DEBUG server its performance is no were near a release build

 

can you let it up until the end of the week-end for us to organise with everybody our side?

You forgot to include the sound cmp in the vmod.

I never understood what if you not include sounds... Some do include them, some don't.

If everyone has the car, like the clio, then perhaps you don't need the sound in the vmod, true?

No not at all I just had to download the sound manually.

 

Yes that's true.

Seeing this thread's reminded me of why I was changing my stance on including additional stuff in any vmods I made. I never used to bother before until a few months ago someone made an indirect comment that cause me to rethink. However time passed and although I remembered I'd read something that made me rethink I couldn't find the post or remember what the point was lol.

 

We had 16-18 drivers on our server last night for the SCES LeMans practice races, and had no problem as decribed. The races were right at 20 minutes so I'll extend the time of a couple of tonight's practice races and report back.
