Improv Drag Racing



I wish ISI would work out a special mode that could accurately pull off Drag Support. Client side lights and timing compared on the server.

rob, as i just said in the edited screenshots bravo to you, i did that before seeing this video. I am astonished by it. This in my opinion wins with the best rF2 video of all times and by outlapping the second one. I dont know how did you do that camera effect, if you actually taped your screen on camera or what is it, but it looks exactly like on TV, you are my Editing hero now :-) Thank you for both that screenshot and this video, trully outstanding

It's pretty low tech, and yes I capture initially from the screen on iPhone. I can then get it edited down and into iMovie, and stitch it all together in there. I'm glad you like it, it's not to everyone's taste, someone once described it as being recorded on a potato!!

But the capture is good enough quality to show the detail and I agree it does look a bit like you're watching on tv. Just not quite a 4k tv lol

The filming of the screen does add a sort of.. Odd realistic quality to it. Would probably take ages to compile filters to get "that look".

I was recording a simple hot lap on 720p and just forgot to use the right settings whilst recording again. Didn't bother to do all the work again.
I actually started it over again but somehow lost the spirit.
 


Ok so I've gone a bit nuts with this tv thing haha! Vid suffers a bit from compression, but I hope you get the idea. There is one bit I'm actually quite pleased with as it happened totally accidentally

Nice rob, I like that effect youv`e got going there especially for the historic stuff.

Really liked that bit with the Lotus at modern Spa to.

you are really making it look easy, once FSR is on rF2, u need to sign up there, you will definetly be in the fast half of the pilots
