Obviously you have never driven on gravel/dirt roads before, yes they do "rubber up" in a fashion, and yes tyres do wear and shed there tread/ marbles, Tyres will depend on what trye model is created. ATM game doesnt support surface "packing" down as in real life, but so far it seems to work quite well, TDF file needs a lot of attention as well ie: grip, rubber line, and marbles, maybe ISI can look at adding the technology of the track surface for dirt in a future build, as I think there is a large community of rally, hillclimb racers out there.
yes, Bjorn, dirt realroad is a bit off topic.....Bathurst back in the early sixties was dirt..............
everyone one may have misunderstood , when I made comments about Realroad"dirt", I was refering to the last few months perfecting it in rf2 , I have no , intentions of doing bathurst in the DIRT,
I realize I am old and senile, but for the life of me, I see absolutely no advantage in reading Post #70.
I have heard from ppl about pcars and iracing laser scan. Bathurst that pcars has is the best ever just goes to show it is how good the person is making the track as to how good a result they will get even if laser scanned. So on that note i don't see why some1 making a track with other info could not match laser scanning. Looking frwd to trying this when it's released.
havnt touched ant more as yet, have terain and track done, been finishing Hidden Valley, time consuming part is the cambers, and buildings, I was at the Bathurst 12 hr 2015, and have over 1200 pics...will take time
Thank you Intel48 for keeping the dream alive. Your track efforts are appreciated...even if we don't always let you know.
great news on updating other tracks then the critics can see how much you have learned and how much better bathurst will turn out. keep up the learning and i'm sure we will all benefit from it. do 1 thing thou release WIPS here. full version in THIRD PARTY MODS. You can always update them over there in the future. PPL asked for something like this and know 1 uses it. its a shame really.......
