Understandable However you can still make it private right Where you can just make it private and put the link here so it doesn't get listed on the the workshop? Or is that not a feature anymore?
These cars are really fun to drive and in terms of sounds they are awesome. Can't wait for version 1 and steam workshop
In my opinion and to my taste this mod is probably best there is in rF2. Classic cars. Raw sounds. Perhaps perfect physics ! Beautiful models. If I'd make some cars for rF2 I would try to get this kind of "flavour", because I think it is the truth ! Big big thanks !
I totally agree mantasisg. Being a pom I'd never heard of half of these cars now I want to own a Holden LX Torana
https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=952512211601920 Amazing stuff to inspire some driving with them hehehe
It's not a track it's street and road racing for Targa rally in Australia and I remember of Lienz in rF1 based on the same pattern starting in the city then a mountain part.Could be great to have it in rF2
I love videos like this, when you can see how dynamic grip and friction really is. I also inevitably drove it a lot in rF2 I'd say the physics are 10/10, at least by feel. Obviously there are some differences from one in a video, as it is a bit tuned, but essentially very close, just perhaps less power, different gearbox maybe, obviously different tires and wheels, and probably bunch of suspension elements, but it is still similar.
Yeah looks like somfin is wrong. You should be able to download them from the xfactor Server with the Aussie Legends @ Bathurst on it, just join the server and you'll get them. SS
When the download dialog box opens make sure to open with browser - this then takes you to the external site to download.
i have no clue how to join the servers and have tried to open them with browser but just get a blank page.
Though neither a V8, any chance of a Holden LJ Torana GTR XU-1 and the E38 Valiant Chargers (which shouldn't be difficult as has the same body as the E49), if so, we could have a complete set of 1972 Bathurst 500 cars bar the lower powered cars.
We have a race this Thrs on RD and have been doing a bit of practice. Noticed something odd about the brakes. The rears are running 100- 200 degrees hotter than the fronts under hard braking, and this is regardless of brake balance and brake disc size. They stabilise after a bit of a rest but will always shoot up under heavy load. Tried the Charger and XC Falcon on Mid Ohio and then on a 397 Track with the same results. The tyres are doing the exact opposite with the fronts going up 100s of psi under heavy braking while the rears stay pretty stable. Could be a bug with the newer tyre model acting on the physics in a strange way.
WTF?! WOW! Great sound and feel! Not enough quality for Steam ? - LOL Cockpits are super detailed and cleaner than most of the mods, sound is awesome! and driving and drifting is pure fun! Models could be a little bit more shiny and it would be nice if the mirrors could be moved with STRG+seat - thats all i found so far. oh and : i just tried to put a race together - AL GC , AL AX GP5, 79 , 78 E49, FB ZY KK ÖÄ... wtf ? I am European, so i have no clue what that all means. Is there an overview which cars belongs to which class ?
