game is on early stage. i m sure it will be better someday. i found myself while driving to searh handling and thinking where is that super feel that RF 2 and Automobilista gives me ? where ? where ? well its not there yet.
What I can gather so far from other people is that it's very demanding, with lots of people having to turn down settings to the point of it looking worse than AC. It's always so confusing because you can read about someone with the same GPU as you saying it runs fine at max settings, right next to another one saying he's getting 20fps
I didnt read what i was buying. . Just found one track, in single player mod, one vehicle. Very different ui from assetto corsa, have to find where to take off some effects i dont like that makes m little dizzy... I simply cannot deal with a fourth way of tunning stuffs (automobilista, rf2, assetto corsa and now that - i barely dont mess with automobilista and AC anymore). Its completely my fault (i should have said this before)
Due to the conversion rates Steam recommends for my country I got the whole game for the price of a single track dlc for RF2. RF2 does not follow these optional recommendations. Is their right though.
good suprise for me by kunos ! ! very very good FFB , no need to touch something , i feel the road in my steeringwheel (with an old G27 even with a dead zone in the middle) and its better than the Pcars2 ffb .. the physics are good , even without full dynamics tyres , the surfaces/grip are good , theres a real gap beetwen AC and ACC .. the sounds are good too and very immersive .. and the helmet cam is a must have for all the racing game the Unreal engine work well , very rich in details but miss some optimisation in colors/effect for the moment i dont like AC but this time Kunos made a great job and i will drive in ACC .. now must wait the online next years for more ! !
Better physics than rF2. Rain far surpasses rF2. "Full Release" rF2: AI doesn't work in rain. Grip in the opposite places than in real life. Puddles only cosmetic. Huge performance dip. FIRST-DAY EA ACC: AI understands rain. Rubbered line is correctly slick. Full puddle simulation. Small performance dip.
My CPU is slightly below minimum and gfx is old and UE4 seems demanding but I gues I'll give ACC a try. Not that I'm interested in more GT3's but curious about physics and FFB. Also maybe finally I could have some rain racing because in RF2 I can't
Well the ffb in rf2's initial release was rattling like hell when u went off-track n stuff...so... not the best experience either I guess.
I wanted to check two things on ACC : - Physics/FFB are they almost as good as RF2 ? As I suspected, not at all. - The graphics are they so beautiful as the marketing and the media rush ? To my very great surprise, no ! I prefer the graphics of RF2 (and yes), especially on dry. The effects of rain are slightly worse than I thought, but a little better than RF2 : but RF2 has the REAL ROAD, which explains some limitations. RF2 and ACC fully in ULTRA, full HD, even graphic improvements with the nvidia control panel. I had the impression that it was less smooth than rF2, for me. In addition, there are too few adjustable settings, no dynamic sky, etc ...... And as expected, only the GT3, knowing that the 5 GT3 S397 and 3 GTE S397 are incredible. Request a refund to steam, refund OK.
guys i dont suggest refund if money is not a problem i also agree that ACC doesnt offer any great thing atm but they will offer more in future so you have a chance t guy the game at low price
I watched Nikki video when it was live streamed, he didn’t notice a difference driving online or offline in the rain, people in the comments were saying itsbecausee tyre wear isn’t implemted yet. Can someone confirm, as we know a certain someone above Likes to live under a bridge but I like to give folks the benefit of doubt
I've only had 30mins on track. Agree FFB is not their yet. Pretty sure this will improve. Lots of settings are bare bones at the moment and have been mentioned by Kunos eg dynamic track/weather. It is early access. I'm happy to pay now and wait. I've essentially paid half price and I'm sure it will be a good Sim. Better than rF2 for driving feel? Only time will tell.
I have no idea if tyre wear is implemented or not in fact I couldn't tell if I had all 4 wheels on the car or not. There isn't any multiplayer yet that comes next month. https://www.assettocorsa.net/competizione/roadmap/
