[WIP] 2021 NTT Indycar Series

Let's steer away from this, please. Things were mostly OK until our last message with the in-game preview. Those who do give something to modders or for content they like end up not being the ones who boast about it publicly.

We create content because we love the cars we work on, and would love to be able to drive them. If they don't exist, we try to work on them ourselves so we can enjoy them. And we like to keep it all for free because we want to share our passion with others. Financial security from this would be fantastic but it must stay as a hobby as it would not be sustainable.

We, and surely most other content creators, are very appreciative and surprised when donations do happen as it feels like someone else is really enjoying something we made, and is giving a pat on the back. We are also thankful to the couple of folks subscribed to our Patreon. About any money that comes in, even from small commissioned jobs, we actually either share it with other contributors or buy DLC if it's cheap enough - so we return it all to the community and game.

I merely reacted to what was mentioned in reply to my invitation for people to donate.

Thank you for this last mod.
All Apex Modding mods are indeed high quality mods, and we should be grateful even more when they are coming free.
If I can suggest some improvements: better tyre shape model ( too squared the edges..), further develpment of small car onboard cameras ( see the small one on the right mirror, for example; or on halo, etc ).
Physics is good and very similar to the DLC ( Dallara IR-18 ), but I should increase a little bit the downforce balance and the tyre grip…respect to S397 the car is faster on straight, but less stable in corners.
And some minor adjustment on gear ratio may be useful.
Keep it up .
Thank You again…..waiting for other ‘70 cars, like Ferrari 312 P, or Porsche 908-3.

Not much to show or talk about today but we do have encouraging news, we have a new beta build (which is also available to Patreon supporters) that is introducing the Push to Pass feature to the road course version of the car. We've also tweaked the tires, with more polys as well as the implementation of IBL shader.

That's a LOT to talk about. Not in volume, but in substance! :-D

congratulations for your superb work and dedication

There's an updated beta build for our Patreon supporters, bringing us a lot closer to release. It took a while but we were finally able to have our contact, who oversees a major manufacturer's simracing program, to review our car and provide feedback and changes based on their and driver's simulator experience and car setups.

There were quite a few changes including to the base setup on the Road Course configuration, and we're confident that after the initial racing engineer's build and now the dedicated sim engineer extensive review, our car is an excellent representation of the real one. In a future update, we'll be replacing our sounds with the ISI DW12 sounds, and once the entire field is painted, we'll release it in the Steam Workshop.
