@Adrianstealth Did you grab the rF2 plugin from the download page? http://www.tyka.net/racepad/download.html
no not yet, still trying to sort my deadicated server and will need a timing facility, this just might do the trick when the time comes? ps I use vr so will only need for final screen grab info ( all fastest times)
If you're looking for something to hold track records then this app is probably not the best way to go. Our league uses r2la to keep track of things, have a look at link below and see if that's the sort of thing you're looking for. The records tab keeps track data. 27.50.70.105:62497/default/
Thank you Tyger ( OP ) I tried many hours trying to install TrackMap but could not get it to appear on RF2. This is so easy to install for IT and sim dummy like me Thanks again...
Hi everyone, Glad many of you are enjoying the app. We have just released the iPhone version yesterday! Full news and changelog: http://www.tyka.net/racepad/news.html Please let me know if there are any issues. Best regards, Edward.
Fuck yes........ Just found this last night, haven’t used it yet, will do this arvo. Looks great. If it was modular as you put it, that would be unreal. Regardless thank you and fuck yes. Lol
Hey guys, I am connecting no issues. And the track map is eventually coming up, but has no driver icons. And it doesn’t see me in timing, I can’t see tyre temps, and weather info. But my fuel, water temp, and oil temp work. Any thoughts guys, cheers.
Hi, It's supposed to work both offline and online. To be honest, I have no idea why for you some parts work and other parts don't. Quite baffling really. What device and iOS version are you on? **Edit** See my reply here: RacePad for iOS no to diplaying all data
Just a heads-up... I installed the iOS 12 developer beta yesterday and RacePad crashes on startup. I will look into it and release an updated version compatible with iOS 12. If you want to keep using RacePad in the meantime, I wouldn't recommend installing any iOS beta version In other news, I have worked on something (hopefully) useful for RacePad: a new pitstop view to make it easier and quicker to make strategic decisions. Whenever you come in for an unscheduled stop (accident, starting to rain, switching strategies...), you often have to quickly calculate by heart how many stops you still need to do, how much fuel you need, how long the tyres will last, etc. This new feature calculates the amount of fuel you need and injects the settings into the game. No need to mess around with the pitstop menu, changing the tyres, fuel amount, etc. Simply select the strategy of your choosing and the pitstop details are set http://www.tyka.net/downloads/pitstop720.mp4 It's definitely not ready for prime time yet, but thought I'd show off already what the future might hold.
Hi all, We have just released an update version of RacePad. - Support for the most recent iPhone and iPad versions, taking the notch and rounded corners into account. We still support all devices running iOS9 and higher, meaning anyone running RacePad on an old iPad 2 or iPod Touch can continue to do so. - Once generated, the track map is now stored to disk. The next time you drive the track, there's no need to regenerate it - it's loaded immediately. - Fixed an issue with the generated track map sometimes showing anomalies when (re)joining a session. - Should the track map still show anomalies (as it's generated by tracking driver positions), you can tap and hold the track in the trackmap view. A menu pops up where you can select to regenerate it. For a "perfect" track map, let the AI generate it offline. It will then be stored to disk and loaded for all future use. - The Timing view now uses a fixed-width font for the timing data, making it easier to read. - A gear indicator has been added to the Dashboard view to replace the low fuel and oil temperature indicators. As the Dashboard already displays the fuel and temperatures in a red colour when nearing low/high levels, we repurposed this space for the gear indicator. - The Dashboard now has a speedometer (iPad versions only). Additionally there are two speed indicators: apex speed and exit speed. These indicators change as soon as full throttle is applied out of a corner. The apex speed gives the slowest speed throughout the corner, and the exit speed gives the speed of the moment when full throttle was applied. This feature helps to find better lines through the corners by giving immediate feedback on your speed. - Added a slider to the Settings to customise when the tyres drop off. In some mods your tyres can feel worn out at 80% already, whereas in others it's only at 25%. With this slider you can customise the exact % when you would like to pit for new tyres, making the Strategy view more accurate. - Fixed the timing sometimes displaying incorrectly formatted timestamps. - Fixed the telemetry sometimes not displaying the first laps in race mode. - Fixed an issue with the telemetry not taking the formation lap into account, resulting in the fuel and tyre estimates being off. Note: Be sure to install the latest plugin from the download page ( http://tyka.net/racepad/download.html ) when you update the App! Enjoy.
