I can't do a jump start. I can normally shift to the 1st gear and doing full throttle until lights go green. Can't do a jump start o_O

Jump start...you start the race to quick...before red lights go out to the green. I simply can't do this.

    Wow that's odd. Hmm.
Do you have any driving aids turned on?

You are probably running autoshift/autoclutch. :)

Autoclutch yes. So the only way for doing a jump start is disabling autoclutch? :D Which means it's not possible for a gamepad user or for those who don't have a clutch pedal? :p

Hmmm...in theory if you have manual shift and auto clutch you should be able to start before the green, at the opposite - if you have auto shift, the game will manage proper shifting for you and won't let you go before the green.

I just tried a random car (Civic) and I just got a penalty for that jump start.....so it looks it's working as expected.

I only have autoclutch enabled. Therefore I still can't do a jump start. Tried with all cars and can't do it. Does it matter which plugins you have enabled?

    Why ?

When I had a Black Momo I used a wheel button for a clutch for years, worked perfectly ? , used to blow off 1/2 the drivers used clutches.

    Use a gamepad button ? Easy ?

Having a clutch button does not mean you must use it for shifting. lol ?

That would be a unfair disadvantage ( syncing 2 buttons ) on top of what you are doing

Note: If you drive Cars like Howston require a clutch ......... disable the clutch button.

    Easy ?

Well if I have to use a button for the clutch this means autoclutch is not working as intended or as expected. This means I have a clear advantage over everyone because I simply can't do a jump start and will most certainly be the best at the starting grid ^^ This can be clearly marked as "cheating" but if autoclutch is not working well it needs an attention...

Again, clutch and auto-clutch are doing what they are supposed to do; jump start it's also working. This means there's something on your side. Problem is I can't think anything to help you because I never heard about a similar problem.

How can that be on my side? If I have autoclutch enabled and everything else disabled than what else can I do? I can try by disabling autoclutch and try to do a jump start. If even that doesn't work than we have a problem.

    But use a compromise.

Use the button to start races , pit in and stopping on track

    Use no clutch for gears

 Surely that is better then no clutch at all.

Even a button will give more sense of wheel spin and adjusting throttle level at starts, particularly driving older cars.

The other advantage of even a button clutch on track is you can dip it and not stall after a spin, people leaves huge time restarting cars.

You can replicate that with a neutral button though that will put you back to first gear.

If you do a 360 and dip the clutch button you can regain control, no nuetral

Will do it. But still if this is not working without a button this means it has a bug...

    Yes

What I am meaning you will find more feel to take offs etc.
Wheel spin too hard off start line you can still dip the clutch. ;)

Clutch button can also help you in spins, a lot of people lose heaps of time restarting the car after a spin.

.and most of them have proper clutches........ but they never dipped it or hit the neutral button fast enough .... ! ;)

You can also set a neutral button for that but imho a button clutch is better as you can dip it and change gears while you are spinning.

Using the neutral button in a spin obviously you hit neutral p then the car will lose grip and spin differently then you have to grab the right gear for the given speed from Neutral.
To do that you really need a clutch to ease it into whatever gear you select.

So that is too hard for a gamepad imho harder then pedals.

Trust me use the clutch button correct for: pit out, in, race starts, stopping on track and spinning.
It will become 2nd nature until you get pedals. ;)

Do alot of burnouts for testing too and get engine revs to match the button.

    Good, thanks.

Also, please, may you try moving/parking your actual player.JSON in a different place so the game will create a fresh one?

After that just deactivate all aids and test.

Just to test on a virgin base. :)

Set a Clutch button and Neutral button.

USE Auto Gears , YOU CAN STILL USE MANUAL GEARS........ or NOT
USE Auto Clutch, YOU CAN STILL USE A CLUTCH ................or NOT

( like you said it is bugged so why not use it )

    TRUST ME
Try it exactly my way these guys have never even used gamepads or 2 pedals in rF2.

    I did for 2 years

    lol
