Working great here but I suppose I've experienced an issue during install, cant remember very well, sorry. Try to extract all rar files to a temporary folder and then manually move content to the rf2 folder under steam.
Hello everyone. I just bought rFactor2 from steam and after a few hours palying and adjusting settings I'm really liking this game. Ffb is great. I also installed this trackmap plugin and working good, thanks to Fazer. However, is it possible to only use the trackmap since I'm using dashmeterpro for the other info? Thanks.
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use them both side by side. Unsure if the trackmap info could get displayed on your tablet if that is what you are after? I'd imagine that you have customised where and what widgets you have on screen with trackmap?
I just want to see the trackmap on my screen nothing else from the plugin. I have 2 cheap tablets for dashmeterpro which shows all the info I need. Is there a way to turn off the rest of the widgets?
I've tried everything to get this to work. Followed all instructions but it just won't have it. It says in options that it is installed but it's not happening. Is there a dash pro for iphone? I'll have to try something like that.
rFactor2\plugins\TrackMap In that folder "d3d9.log.txt" ends with a whole lot of "Error OpenFileMapping2" lines. Is this a clue as to why TrackMap is not working? Please help - i have still that problem and TrackMAp isnt in the settings/plugins and not working
In the Steam version I noticed that the supplied d3d9.dll causes rF2 to crash in 32bit mode. It only works in 64bit.
my rf2 non steam works fine, track map is perfect in 64bits. AC works fine too. Pcars some crashes and issue with the wheels for this reason I don't update my rf2 to steam.
Could you check your steam rf2 installation for annother d3d9.dll? If you find annother one, try to solve the problem with renamimg the trackmap d3d9.dll as described on one of the previous pages of this thread.
The plugin works the same in steam and non-steam in 64bit, so there is no reason to not switch to Steam.
Any way to use this with Reshade? I've already tried changing the dlls but I can't get it to work. Thanks.
Guys, I haven't downloaded this but want to check one thing for another forum user: Where does he extract/install track maps? Is this the answer? "to update the maps Just copy the entire contents in the folder Tracks in the following location: Core path rFactor2/Plugins/TrackMap/Tracks"
