Isn't there a PLR setting where you can change the bias? Maybe tire pressure fixes as well now I think of it?
Rfactor 2 supporter, many times being bombarded by AC and PCars fanboys, but this time i must agree on dissapointed people side. All this fix´s/Bug Fix´s,etc should be packaged and only released when theres also some content or even new features, other way they could simply be released day by day and people just click update whenever they join rf2. 2 months waiting to see some shadow fixing or something similar obviously ends in frustration and dissapointment. Im not saying that devs didnt work hard this weeks, i believe they did. Anyway, please shut up my mouth and prove me im wrong by delivering a nice Honda in next days...
I'm not really interested in new content, it seems there's no one really working on rf2 or its so hard & slow to develop that I fear we may be on to a lost cause )-: double darn it
Hopefully it's out before Christmas, as that would maximize time people could race it over the break.
I'm also experiencing more grip (Williams JPH1B at Poznan) , braking zones moved forward, 1 turn I even gear up where previously that was not happening. pb on full rubber now is almost in reach on light rubber. Using our old .rrbin file which seems to be working still. Could also be better framerate and thus better reaction times or whatever although fps did not go up much. or at all. but I have seen improvement before just by increased framerate which does not always reflect in fps-numbers. Getting errors on track load: Its a series of _PMAT errors when loading a track. ok'ing them will still load. It appears to be related to graphical changes, I was fiddling with them and each time I made a change I got errors. but when returning without changes it loads fine. Oh and as with last build-change, some vmods are now damaged: ''Damaged Mod - cmp rfator2 UI v1.0d not found;''
Well, I can understand some people are disappointed with the update. However, this update isn't necessarily all that has been done in 2 months. It may be all that they feel they could release, as other completed things may still introduce issues that they don't want the community to deal with, or may rely on other systems that are not completed, etc. I'm sure they're working hard.
About the shadows, i think it's a little bit better now, seems like they switch on at about 400-500m distance in replay (at 70-90 Fps). But in IMO there should be always a static shadow under the car, even with dynamic shaddow it's still to bright there. What happend to "Driveline improvements" gentleman ?
Thanks for your help, looked into registry keys but there are all created. Well, the problem is the "\" at the end of the line inside data.path file: C:\Server3\ must be C:\Server3 inside this file.
developing leads rFactor2 March 2 years and still not puncture the tires or stain when you turn on gravel, grass or dirt kers not to mention I think that consumers are having a lot of patience, not to mention they want to charge 10 euros a year to play online makes me laugh
I used lite, installed core to each dir, then modified the path file in each core to give right data directory for each. Took about 2mins to do 5 servers, my first time trying. Sent using Tapatalk - excuse the short post, etc
We've not said any if the items in your list will definitely be in rF2 except KERS. Sent using Tapatalk - excuse the short post, etc
People want existing things to be refined before adding new things. People want new things added as they don't notice refinement to existing things. There's difficulty appreciating either happening.
I did the update but I haven't noticed any difference!after 2 months I was expecting some big improvements but it seems that rf2 engine is too much complicated and it isn't easy to develope it!
You can understand there's some concern when 23 months after initial release: - realroad still accelerated - no rain on windshield/wipers not working - shadow problems - AMD performance awful - audio spotter still never fixed These arent new problems, and have been screamed about for fixing by the community for an age.
