Okay, I tried almost all of the tracks; it happens on all of them....... I tried reinstalling, checked if all was gone after uninstall and so on......all systems should be "go" by now, but still.....

Lol, in fact; I read this...... But had no idea it was about my problem..... Now starting to realise "CTD" means the game stops and goes to desktop, am I right?
yes- CTD is Crash To Desktop. There are conflicts between various add-on mods and plugins with rFactor2 that will cause CTD problems. I have 2 separate installations of the game to deal with this issue. If a mod CTD's in one installation, I move it over to the other installation. Some mods are simply too much trouble and I get rid of them altogether. If you have the disk space you can try and install rF2 to a different directory (you'll have 2 installations) and install a special instance of rF2 just for the GP79 mod.
Wow much appreciate your efforts. Went a couple weeks without driving rF2 due to log-in problems. When I got logged-in again, I strapped myself into the version 0.41 T3 and holy mackeral hold on to your britches. The way the car skitters and hops across bumpy turns is excellant physics at its best! In Grand Prix the Killer Years John Surtees talks about the satisfaction of the communication between driver and car. I think I've got that going on with the T3. Glad to see the cockpits addressed. I always thought the cockpits were the weak part of GP79. Thank you. Sam Weaver

IT'S A FULL INSTALL... Uninstall GP79_CAR update and GP79_UNRESTRICTED from mod manager or delete by hand all GP79 related folder/files FOR ALL BETA TESTER you need to uninstall Private shared files and delete it...(same file name but not exactly same content)...

OMG OUTSTANDING! Can't believe how good this feels to drift through turns. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better after the Howstons. Thank you very very very much. One minor problem. Just had brief test but experiencing intermittant black screen (except for at least part of hud) at Zolder and Portugal. Turning off mirrors alleviated problem (except I liked the mirrors) Thanks Sam W PS Further experimentation reveals not the mirrors but rather the failure to load an HDR profile causes the screen to intermittantly flicker black. Usually I don't bother with selecting an HDR profile but I guess if I wont to see where I'm going I need to start.
Thanks samuel, You have found an important issue and what it's from rer8 has report it to us but we have thought that was isolate because we didn't reproduce it by ourself... I will try to check that... Can you post your Player Detail and AI detail value in gfx option ???
I believe I have both set to full. I also most apoligize for neglecting to praise the outstanding Tyrrell cockpit. It improves GP79 %100 graphically. In the rf1 version I wouldn't drive a lot the cars simply due to the cockpits but the new tyrrell is great. Looking forward to the previewed Lotus cockpit. Sam
