I agree with this totally. ISI please hire this guy if he is willing before we lose him to SMS or someone. Don't make the same mistake like with Hudson Kerr and let him get away to iRacing in that case. These tracks are the best in any sim right now, he is matching iRacings basically which are the the most convincing looking alongside Feels work.

Seems like feels3 has a two faces with different textures where road surface meets the grass/gravel. So you can have irregularity either by making a texture combining two surfaces with irregular shape, or then one way is to distort the mesh. I'd go with mesh distortion, because that material transition in feels3's example is pretty neat even it is straight as laser. In the game, you never actually look any track that close anyway.

Maybe that is because the greek government funding is going belly up? Sorry, cheap joke but had to get rid of that
i have no doubt that guy like feels3 can do what you show. but there is a compromise to find with rf2 and the realroad basically add this "dirt section" that you show is more complicated on rf2 because this is a part with transparency and realroad shader doesn't like it personnaly i can't manage it properly. IMO the choice of feels is the better at this moment.
