Sounds like that lot of effort is put to this car, will be interesting to see how it compares to other cars and if things are found with this car that lead to improvements for other cars also, we see that when it is ready.

 

Na, these guys are great. What they organized today was just fantastic. Luciano put a huge amount of his day into this, too.

He also beat our resident alien (who has done 1000's of laps with the combo) by a large margin. So there might just be a reason why he is a racing driver.

 

Racing drivers at top level are their own breed, I have said this before, but when you think about action they have already performed the action, for example traditional slap hand and other tires to pull hand away, signal in nerves is just not travelling enough fast to beat them, that is what amazes me quite a bit and it is hard to believe unless you witness that with your very own eyes.

HOWEVER, talking about good eyes, Tim said earlier in this thread that with the initial F2 Release only the current tracks will be used, so no new ones at first

 

Glad alls going well. Would be badass if we could see Luciano's lap at some point. Was it a finished version of the F2 he drove, tire model aswell?

Where did you hear this from? I read that ISI want to provide more updates tahn they did in rF1 but I dont remember reading anything about continual updates ala iRacing.... if thats true than even better for the already best sim out.

 

No, it isn't finished. We've told F2 later in the year (where they got December from), but it'll probably be done earlier.

You guys will get the beta of it fairly soon though.

As for video, F2 took some. We got good telemetry.

Yes, it's true, but unlike the 3-month seasonal schedule of iRacing, I don't think we'll work along a set schedule, as we don't already.

 

Always better to avoid feeling rushed and ill prepared. Setting hard deadlines like iRacing and others do limits the quality of the final in my opinion unless the deadlines are very realistic and doable. Too often we see companies get themselves in trouble because they set a firm deadline and failed to deliver what was promised.

You guys just keep making the stuff ISI, I am sure we will wait for it heheh.
