Any one has already driven in the new update? any difference in car handling/performance?

 

Just graphically, looking better. The physics still feel the same and the game seems a little smoother. Liking it.

By the way, have you noticed anything different in the new update. I've found I've lost de ligthing effects you get when you get in and out of the tunnel. (Is that what HDR is about?)

 

Yeah I found that if I have HDR turned on the tunnel has no 'darkness' at all, it's a bright as day in there.
I've turned off HDR for now until I can find some sort of work around, if you find a solution before me please
let me know, I'll do the same if I find anything.

 

Ok Guys The Server is now set to race settings

I have put a password on the server, So you are going to need to enter using sr4l as the password

Remember we now have 2 days of Practice so make the most of it

same here about tunnel, dont mind though, think it was exagurated imho.

 

Oh I don't know, that feeling of coming out of the tunnel into blinding light was something I loved and I've
had similar experiences on sunny days driving through tunnels. I miss it so I hope I can get it back.

I'm going to try updating my video drivers to see if that helps but probably won't do it before Sunday just
in case, I just want to keep my system stable for that .

 

Andy, one of most frightening driving experience I had, was at a summer trip in north Italy.
The autostradas there are quite old, among the oldest in Europe, full of badly lit, tight, twisting tunnels, in some places one after the other.
Big Alphas and BMWs chasing me, I entered tunnels with sun glasses on, couldnt see a thing, had to change to my ordinary glasses as Im myopic, but no time for that as BMW behind flashed headlights and I couldnt press as I couldnt see anything so only solution left is pray!!!
(Im not really fond of tunnels, no)

 

That doesn't sound like much fun at all Nikos, I can see how something like that would stick in your mind.
