You complainers do relaize this is beta right???? Some of you keep talking like this software has gone gold. Working WITH ISI will get the bugs worked out...and all the verbage comparing it to RF1 is just that. When this software HAS gone gold and these issues still exist...then and only then can/should you be complaining on how many guys you have on your RF2 servers....

I have to say I have been a rfactor addict for 4 years now and have not found a p server for rf1 that I have been able to(or wanted to) race on for the last 6 months ........mod this version track this ver one choice to race meganes on the bro and have a big wreck with all the first lap winners.... im sorrry but I got into rf2 hoping I could find some decent match racing online. so far I have had as many good races with a few folks here as I have had in a couple years at rf1....The mod system may be flawed but the reasoning is good...mho Bk
Thanks to VLM for the great mid ohio.......and all of their exellent work on rf1... truly the best of the best
having a blast on the track, great fun to drive, just a couple of notes: 1- Will the AIW be getting an upgrade? I've noticed the AI are good but not great, a couple of corners (the first left hander on the hill for example) they seem to brake too much and dont flow round fast enough whereas they are fine on other sections.....makes getting them "just right" a bit hard. 2- Any future Track Detail changes would be good, I've got my settings on Low and theres a little too much around the Track (Trees/Helicopter/Birds etc) that I could do without to save a few FPS. Apologies if the above has been mentioned in the thread but I hav'nt got time to read it all!
1) has been mentioned. AI isn't final with the current version of rF2 and the track's using the same AI lines that worked fine with rF1. Perhaps updates to the AI will solve the issues, perhaps a new AIW will be getting an upgrade. 2) More differences between track detail levels are planned for the next version, yes.
Even it its current form, my favorite track so far, very fun with the FR35's. I need to try it with the Nissans too though.
Less i can do is thank VLM for this fantastic track, really a lovely place to be!!! Great work,I really hope you will convert your fantastic LeMans to rf2. all the best, nikos
Any ideas why I can see and play Mid Ohio in SP, but it shows mod not installed in MP? I was in the F3 Fun server earlier yesterday and ran just fine at Portugal, but Mid Ohio was a no go with the mod not installed message. With the new system in place I couldn't for the life of me find out what was wrong. All my versions and all tracks for that all track mod are installed and updated. Thanks for any tips or ideas. I'm usually hardcore NASCAR racer, but I enjoy these road courses as well and can't stand it when I can't figure it out. SVO
You didn't mention if you had installed this; 1960s World Class Racing + All Tracks [vMod] There is also another 60's vMod; MRN1024-v0.7-1960sWorldClassRacing+AllTracks.rfmod when they ran the Belgium track all was fine, the next day they ran Mid-Ohio. I had the same problem as you (it said not installed) So I switched to the bottom one and the server finally found my Mid-Ohio install.
Thank You, I'll check what you have mentioned and see if I can get back on the track. Raced a bit with you in a server the other day. Was great fun learning a new track for me. I used to play GPL so I'm loving this sim.
MRN1024-v0.7-1960sWorldClassRacing+AllTracks.rfmod This was the culprit. Raced on Mid Ohio and Snetterton a bit tonight.
