You really "can't see no difference"? or "can see no difference".
I believe there should be no double negation in English language ;) (opposite to Slavonic languages)

However difference is significant. Check blackness of shadows.

    Edit: Ryno was faster.

    @nikos
Hehe.. It's not about 'Proficiency' but about 'misleading'.
In Slavonic languages (Polish, Czech) you can really construct the sentence using double negation: 'I can't see nothing' (straight translation of single words). In English it should be 'I can see nothing'. So in terms of logic, English is more correct. Since that using double negation in English may leads to misunderstandings due to negate original meaning.

So I might understood original SLuisHamilton's sentence that difference is quite clear to him.

Shadows are lighter with 0.5. Personally, 0.0 looks much better

In Greek, double negation is STRONGLY negative. The same as in Slavonic languages. Greek is much older than Slavonic, but cannot tell atm which influenced which in particular case, as we have a lot of interraction.
English on the other hand, is based on German and French, which is rooted in German as well. We all know German preccision?

That was not the point here tho lol...

    OK, but...

So, it's more about how some things are currently calculated.

If you were able to take a shot in real life of the feels3 pitlane scene it would look like 0.0, & not 0.5 ..with a high almost-overhead sun the contrast will be great (0.5 diffusion to me has weak shadows & not so convincing :))

    I don't think so.
Check this pic. Shadows are almost black.

This is what hdr should produce if you look directly in the sun.

Exactly. I'd prefer the 0.0 setting as well.

I've fiddled with my settings and got shadows on HIGH now, noticed the diffusion looks poor at times for example directly under a car, needs to be darker.

Thanks. Might be a placebo, but I swear the image quality is better in Win 8.
