What kind of sound can we expect from the rF 2 Corvette ?

 

mmh sounds different than ALMS GT2 spec car.
This is the 2011 GT2 Vette.

Because it's a completely different engine. The car in the first video has an LS3-based engine which is probably around 6.3L. Sounds very similar to the Corvette Z06 GT3 car by the way. The one in the GTE car is a new version of Pratt&Miller's LS7.R (downsized from 7.0l to 5.5l). The LS7.R GT1 and GTE engines rev a lot less (~5800-6000 red line) and sound very different from all the other modern Corvette road and race cars.

By the way, I'm working on the sounds for such a car using videos from Oliver Gavin's and Tom Milner's (incl. the one posted above)...

Can a hp envy with a Intel 2nd generation Core I5, 4GB system memory and a AMD/ATI HD Radeon 6630 with1GB DDR3; up to 3045MB (total) do the trick? Can it handle rF2?

Can track groove data be saved between sessions/weekends and reloaded? Also, can track groove data be erased between sessions?

 

November 15 is mine, so I think november is a good month to release a beta at least

They're putting it in a first online magazine issue of theirs, out on that date.
