I was talking about FIA regs, I didn’t think about league rules. I’ll have a look at how hard it is to change.
I've made the change as it was quite simple. Trying to get it into a working package is proving more of a challenge
No problem, it was something I needed to clean up but now git has just trashed much of the work I've done today Do I do it again while it's fresh in my memory or do I take a hammer to my computer?
With the latest version shown above, I get an error: Failed to execute script rf2headlights debug code is: 'rf2headlightsDEBUG.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. Win10x64
Thank you for the great tool. It would be great if you could investigate this. I participate in endurance races, as many other people in the forum, where driver swap is required, but unfortunately the tool stops working once a swap is done so I had to stop using it. Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers
Something wrong with initialising headlightControls.ini, download https://github.com/TonyWhitley/rF2headlights/releases/download/V1.8.71/headlightControls.ini and overwrite the one in the same folder as the .exe I'll look into why. That version has magically disappeared V1.8.72 has the fix
Recently I had to unistall rf2light and install it again. since i did that the flashing isn't working. The turn on lights function works fine, but no flashes. On the plugin it seems to detect that i am flasing but not pm rf2 ?!
This says you don't have H mapped to the Headlight control in rFactor Does pressing H in the game toggle the headlights?
@Seven Smiles did you ever plan to port your tool to simhub as plugin too? A guy attempted something similar to your work (even if still very basic) so gave me the idea...your plugin would be very useful for AMS too or other titles and SimHub is a great tool used by many.. if you could combine the two wouldn't be great?
I've done 3 or 4 versions of it already, kinda lost interest now. A thought on a SimHub / AMS version is that I think rF2 is the only game that gives the headlight status (e.g. rF1 doesn't) so you could flash the headlights but there would be no guarantee whether they were on or off afterwards.
