Judging by your preview shots of the pits (which look truly amazing) the artifical sponsors are not a big problem - they are created in style and really do blend in with the atmosphere - fantastic job woochoo. And you are absolutely right with another important thing: We NEED more late 50s and 60s sportscars in rf2: Bring on the E-Types, D-Types, GT40s, Ferrari 330s/275s, Aston DB4s, Porsche 904, 906 and 910, Matras and the Bizzarini. Just imagine such a lineup - where is HistorX when you need them...
I was just looking at the latest screenshots again and I noticed the cardboard crowd looks to be about 6'3"-6'7" tall on average, especially noticeable when there are Cobras around. Can it be shrunk by 6-10%?
these numbers and apparently random punctuation mean nothing to me I have made the crowd some number of centimetres shorter now though. I also have a plan (and the source photos) to re-attire a number of the people in/on/in front of the pits in overalls. A small variety of overalls colours, and the occasional oily rag in hand or pocket. photoshop magic if your face currently features in the crowd and you do not wish to be re-attired in overalls, i expect you signed your rights away when you submitted your photos
"When it's done" versus "If you can't release an early beta for the 50th anniversary, you probably shouldn't have bothered at all"
well, let me make a foolish guestimate to save you from refresh mode Maybe i'll have a link when the real-life Le Mans clock gets to 19-ish hours remaining in the race I'll say now, as i implied earlier, it's not "release ready", it's more of an early beta preview, just because it's the season of Le Mans EDIT: Had better make it 18-ish hours
I, while eager, am more than happy to wait and watch the progress. Less haste, more speed as they say Do hope you can enjoy the race today.
^^ earlier screenshots, re-posted ^^ fresh screenshots below V0.50 available in first post please read the notes Early build. Generally serviceable, but many known bugs or issues. No need to report issues yet. This is just an early preview release to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Le Mans 1967. The track is not finished. It is still missing details. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/le-grand-circuit-1967-in-association-with-vlm.53616/
I'm a bit too busy to try this right now, lol! But thanks so much woochoo, I know this track is going to be wonderful.
