Hey, really sorry about not getting this posted earlier. I've had an incredibly busy couple of weeks, with the release of Windows 10.

Any how, due to an electical storm or three, I was not able to attend last weekend's, race weekend.

    But.. The server saves all.

Here are the result of quallifying.

    1 Sjakie EVE F3 15 01:28.3818 - PlayerControl, Clutch

Kind of a small turnout. Was the server behaving?

Anyways, here't the reusults of the race itself.

Hey now... The outcome of this weekend's race seemed to be determined, partially, by attrition. Personally, I just couldn't concentrate.

I'd like to thank those who attended the race, and look forward to seeing all of you back, and hopefully some new comers, as well.

Here are some of the details of qualifying:

    Howdy Race Fans,

I want to opologize for the way these things look. I build and repair computers.... Don't ask me how to use them. There is a reason I don't sell any software... : )

I never got around to the weekend, before last's race results. Sorry, I'm kind of a busy man these days.

Hopefully, this week will be slower, whew...

Anyways, here are the results of last weekend's race. We had a small turnout, but it was still fun! It's always fun! You guys make this fun! I only planned to run a 10 week series... I believe that ended 10 weeks ago. Or pretty close. I don't plan stopping any time soon. You guys are just too much fun to hang around with and race with to quit now! Actually, it's guys like you that make rFactor2 stand above all the rest. It just ain't the same racing anywhere else.

Quallie went something like this... Oh, and it was really nice to see Nikos back behind the wheel too, although I did not give him the oportunity to say that he was faster than me. : Þ

Now for the race results. It was a clean race, I had a rough start. I was pretty much the only driver that had to type "sorry" during the race.

You can figure it out... Sorry... I don't have time to spend 'trying' to make it look good. As a matter of fact.. If you want to know race results... Show up for the race... : )

This weekend's race is to honor Max Angelo.

I knew and raced with Max for over 10 years. GPL and RF1.

Him being from Italy and me being from the states, we never 'talked' all that much, but always had a good time running around, learning tracks together, along with 'Mikki'.

He also was a "frequent flyer" at the F3 Fanatics' server.

I know that all who knew him will miss him, as I do and will.

So... Run a few laps with us this weekend, starting at 4:00pm Arizona time tomorrow, Satuday/Sunday for a great race, on a great track! For Max.

    Thanks for the read,

    Bryan

Hey Nikos. Thanks for your reminder. You always try to make sure we know when these races are. I couldn't help wondering when I read this message, LOL!

A well meaning guy in Greece sent a message at 3:57 forum time if I am logged into the forum, (which means that time is actually my time) or 5:57 if I am not logged in(which is actually the forum time) about an event tonight, referencing 1:00(I am assuming am) London time, which is actually tomorrow(London time)!

I think I must have missed it! But then again I am not sure what time it is as my watch needed a new battery. Oh, well at least my watch, in its present condition is correct twice a day! I have to fix that tomorrow as the store is closed today.

I'm not sure when you will receive this message, but I am sending it now!!

Well, Nikos, this is really funny. I was trying to figure out a humourous way to tell you that I didn't really understand what time & day that race was to be? I guess I may have accomplished my intent by having you be confused too? Hope you carry on with your party. All should be well sometime next week! Maybe about the time for the next reminder!!:p

    Hi guys....

I'm sorry you guys have such a hard time translating time zones.

I live in Arizona... I start the practice session at 4:00pm, my time. Arizona time.

I live in Arizona... I start the quallie session somewhere around 4:30pm, my time. Arizona time.

There is a 5 minute warmup... Arizona minutes.

The race session usually starts around 5:15, my time. Arizona time. Saturday afternoons.

I live in Arizona, USA. In Arizona we don't change our clocks twice a year. Saturday afternoons.

This is going to cause total kaos, when you good folks turn your clocks back an hour, this fall.

So... You'll be having to be here an hour earlier. Remember, I'm not the guy changing my clock. I'll still be starting practice at 4:00pm, my time. Arizona time. Saturday afternoons.

I'm not too sure, I'd be pursaded to start an hour later. And, I would think it would benefit you guys. Get to go to bed an hour earlier. For 6 months or so... lol. Until you change your clocks again.

    Clear as mud?

    Bryan

    Well, another week gone... Unbelievable!

Last week's testing of the "refreshed, server" went well.

I did still have to reboot the server once.

Some more tweaking has occurred over the last week.

Sooo... This week's event is being held at Lime Rock Park, in Connecticut, USA. I used to live just a couple of hours from this track. Kinda like going home for me... But, I digress. The track was requested by Nikos. The guy that's faster than me. Just ask him. 8*D

I'd like to see attendance soar! I'd like to see donations soar too... but that's another thread on another forum... : )

Hope to see you all at Lime Rock Park!

Remember. The starting time for the practice session is 16:00:00 hours. Quallie is 16:30:00 and the race ~17:00:00.

And, of cource you know, these times are Arizona times.

In a few weeks, when the clocks change.... what do they change into??? .....)You'll be starting this event an hour earlier.

I hope that works out well for everyone. Nothing changes on my end...

I'll look for you on the track!

    Bryan

    Okay Race Fans!

Today's "Just 4 Fun" race brings us to Oulton Park.

This track is proving to be a lot of fun with these hot-rodded F3s.

Just powerful enough to have fun, but tame enough so that attrition shouldn't be too high!

Come join the fun this afternoon, tonight, tomorrow morning, at 4:00PM Arizona time.

Hope to see you all there for more fun!

This week may even get a race report. Some of my duties at work have been handed over to someone else. I may even get them posted tomorrow afternoon.

    Thanks for the read!

    Bryan

The race will start 1 hour after that, at 5:00PM Arizona time.

If you've removed the old F3s, you can't run the moddified F3. Put the old cars back on and you'll be all set.

For this weekend, I have decided, at the last second to use the new F3s. At least get mod will work with them.

Get mod will not work with old F3s because, multicomp....

To get old ver 1.49 EVEs and Sparks along with the Fanatic Cars (Both needed to run the F3_Fanatic cars.) Go to page one of this thread.

Thanks. If this doesn't work, the new F3s seem to have more torque than the old ones.

Tomorrow's race will be at IsI's new Monte Carlo circuit.

We will be running stock F3s until I figure a way to get the modified ones to work with "Get Mod" again.

On Monte Carlo, I'm not so sure we need the extra power!

If you haven't driven the latest rendition of this track, you're in for a treat!

That will be a great addition to the server.

Was a fun race. Very close racing with JP until he had a huge moment. I was going to be 2laps short on fuel and shouldn't have tried setting up a splash and dash and negotiating the chicane at the same time. Bottom of the bay and back to pit. Thanks BB
