During the production schedule for the newly released Build 946 it became obvious that the old tonemapper wasn’t working very well on certain tracks. Both Saõ Paulo and Malaysia became the perfect place to experiment with the new tonemapper. Then, because Malaysia hadn’t been given a lot of attention in recent times, we wanted to grab this opportunity to give the place a polishing pass. It is, frankly, a superbly challenging circuit – it deserved it! Download Malaysia v1.58 Now! (Requires latest rFactor 2 Build). This update is really cool! Good job. But I have a question: is the AIW changed in this version? As letting my mod (F1RFT2013) drive this version results in always spinning of the AI in the last right-side corner of the track. They want to turn in, but hit the curbs with their left wheels and then spin. It wasn't the case for me in the last version of Sepang.
Stupid me, I read the changelog, but oversaw this one . Sorry. Well, then, the AIW updates may not be working well for my mod. I see the cars are driving over curbs more often now. Some open wheeler mods will not like that, I guess. But I need more tests to totally convince myself.

Thx for the update! Nice improvement overall but I am mostly impressed by the tarmac/asphalt. Looks much better than what we had previously or until now at any track. The small reflections at some places are nice too, not overdone, just right. Midday the tarmac has a very light colour but it still looks like tarmac. Dunno what happened to the curbs exactly. Although the textures are older I guess, they fit now much better in aswell. Great work overall!
for some reason i cant uninstall the old malaysia track, & thus load the new one...in the new local content area it shows malaysia 1.42 italicized with an asterisk, so i presume its dependent on some other mods bc i cant uninstall it. unfortunately idk where it tells me what mods i need to uninstall first...hope someone can help me out
