I have signed up. I can't promise I'll participate in all races, but I'll try. My brother might be interested too (no account here).. :)

Ok, cool :) Life is never 100% sure so no 100% promises needed. To try our best is all that we can do :)

It's a good place to see nice tracks, drive a fun car and meet some fair and fast drivers too so let me know if your brother wants to join.

We could do a stress test for the server some day...

Are you guys available for this for example on next Sunday or Wednesday?

Are all satisfied with our current tracks? Galaga suggested bringing Loch Drummond in earlier. Nascar hoped for a street track but those didn't do so well in our poll. Not sure which track(s) we could replace but it's possible if there's enough will for that.

Friday nights are the best for me, as weekends are reserved for race. As Ive seen a lot of people come by at Friday nights.

I think Lienz should be ruled out, it is more a rally stage imho.
Loch Drummond is a club track afaik, havent tried it though.

    A warning about Longford.
We tried to make a race with Lolas last month but we had to change it, there is a bug at starting grid, cars falling on top of each other.
I didnt mind at all, I think its too narrow there for such cars.
BTW a very nice track for such horspower is Essington, we have it on for next week.

Has issue about which car will be raced been solved? I really love the H6.

We could do the stress test and discuss about the tracks at the same time.

Loch Drummond is really fun track, pretty challenging with Howstons. +1 for Essington. I like Lienz and I think with skilled racers there could be a fun race. I agree it's narrow but you don't have to have passing point in every corner/straight, there are some good passing points still.

Car choice is difficult to decide. For the competition sake we should drive at least with same class but not necessarily with the same type (all type have their own strenght and weaknesses). Personally I would agree either with g4 or g6 (more experience with g4, it's also more of a gt car when g6 feels like openwheeler). G6 seems faster so I'm not sure if it would be wise to allow both g4 and g6...

EDIT: just noticed you were talking about Longford being narrow, not Lienz... but same comment goes to Longford :)

I would suggest Auckland or Symmons Plains over Loch Drummond. These two tracks are incredible with Howstons but your track list is fine other than Longford which as starting grid issues ATM.

Edit - But Loch Drummond is awesome too for sure. :)

I forgot to mention and just an observation b/c I personally love Lienz but I also like different combos that are not mainstream combos. My perception is that Lienz is great and fun but nevertheless divisive. People are either not interested or insanely in love with it.

Regarding cars, My impression is that g4s are more popular. In my estimation, g4s make for better balanced racing across the tuning configurations while g6s are the opposite somwhat. Don't get me wrong. My favorite car is the 69 g6 but the older g6s are inferior which is great b/c this expands the number of combos compatible with g6 but is not great for competing cars unless you want handicapping. Anyway all just observations. I personally am fine either way.

Longford is scheduled to be on 2nd of February so it's very likely that there is going to be a fix for that problem before that.

but either way, we can have a discussion about this :)

G4's would be a good choice, theres enough versions of them for different tracks, people could use whatever config they want for the specific track

One idea was to race 5 races with g4 and other 5 with g6. But always same class car for all within a single race. ( different types free to choose)

Anyone like this idea? I think it's an interesting idea.

Maybe G4's for the shorter modern tracks, and G6's for the long historic tracks
