United Sim Racers - Season 1 - sign up thread

@nullsub: try to restart rf2 if you can't join...should fix it. There are 3 of us in already.

 

I restarted my pc, but now the join button is greyed out. the official ISI server works.

 

now there are 6 of us in...

maybe some more restarts? Holley said it took few tries from him...

Don't click on anything before the server list appears...I did that and couldn't join...restarted and waited for the list and it worked.

 

Thank you for you help. Join Button works again. Bit I still get "Server Connection failed".

Holley will test 24h day/night transition for this race... we will have one 1 hour race there. Double points as in Nords (maybe even some extra for extra challenge).

Matt, you might want to check my and Cookies little incident in the start of race 2... I don't know if it could result in any penalties, but just wanted you to take a look at it. I made a good start while he was standing still. Had no time to react and crashed in to him. The crash itself is hilarious...lol. Despite the very low speed, my car is thrown into the air... Well, sorry Cookie, I hope you didn't damage the car.

I missed the first race by 10 minutes only. 'Luckily' for me, Robert had forgotten about the race lol, so we both joined in time for second race

Looking forward to our finale at Le Mans. Let's do a fair amount of promotion so we have a bigger grid!

 

Hi guys. I missed the race yesterday because I was two weeks away from home and there was no time for practice. Without practice I think it is better so.

 

Maybe if you are totally out of control if you haven't practiced... but you are experienced driver so I don't mind if you come without practice. Our 45 min practice session should be enough anyway to have clean racing.

i did not get any damage from it - just facing the wrong way....i got out wide at t1 later -racing juraj - and clipped combey who was trying to get back from an off, i got damage from that -

no problems- i got a slow start waiting for the guy in front of me to go -

 

Sorry Rikard that it has taken so long. I try to take a look at it today.

You have pretty comfortable lead there Maybe I figure out some more extra points for this race to help us I thought that winning this race could be the most valuable.

Don't know if you already noticed the new thread I started but we should have pretty decent grid already. Few more wouldn't hurt.

I reviewed the crash: In a way the crash could have been avoided but the circumstances weren't normal with the starting lights. Cookie had really bad reaction but so did the guy in front of him. I understand the caution they did take in the start. Safe pass is required also in these situations. I'll give a minor warning for this for you but nothing more. Your crash with Robert (landed on him) was just bad luck, I would call it an racicing incident.
