    Taking Noel's lead here...

    Rules of the Road

GT's need to hold their normal line.

If you try to "help" the LMP by, you will generally get hit because LMPs don't expect any help.

The only help that normally works is if you brake early, and only brake early if the LMP shows intent to pass on the inside.

DO NOT brake early if the LMP car is right behind you in the same lane.

When going around a turn, do not fight to try to stay on the inside as an attempt to give an LMP room on the outside.

LMPs have way more downforce than GTs, typically don't need the outside, and will not expect you to try to give the outside and will end up rear ending you.

Do not go back-and-forth trying to make room for an LMP on straights.

GTs will hold up an LMP more by being unpredictable or compromising their normal line in an attempt to try and "help" an LMP.

LMPs get used to a GTs normal pace and if they are off pace because they are running a compromised line. It just makes things worse.

GTs should never try to outbrake an LMP.

Multi-classes shouldn't race each other. There is nothing to prove.

Do not brake early to let an LMP by you, then try to retake them around a turn.

Often times when an LMP is over taking a GT, they take a compromised line through the turn (mainly low speed turns) and the GT is actually capable of putting up a fight. This only puts both cars in danger.

GTs should flash their lights to let LMPs know they plan to yield.

No flashing of lights to tell people to get out of the way.

    I'll add two more...

The overtaking driver has the primary responsibility for completing a successful pass.

The driver on the inside of the turn (apex) has the right-of-way.

Reminders for Sunday's 1.5 Hour Event

    Mod Download

Make sure you have already downloaded the mod prior to joining the server. The file information is in the event PDF.

    Event Format

Server reboot: 10 AM EDT (1400 GMT)

Official Practice: 11 AM-12 PM EDT (1500-1600 GMT)

    Qualifying: 12 PM-12:15 PM EDT

    Warmup: 12:20 PM-12:30 PM EDT

    Race: 12:30 PM-2:00 PM EDT (1630-1800 GMT)

    Race Comms

    1) You must be on the Teamspeak 3 server to hear the starter's call for green. Other Teamspeak 3 details are included in the event PDF file sent earlier.

    2) Text chat is okay during practice and warm-up, but not during qualifying or the race.

    Rules of the Road

    http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...ap-Teams-Event?p=175190&viewfull=1#post175190

    Qualifying

    1) Closed qualifying! You must be on the server at the end of practice and before the server switches over to qualifying or you will need to start from the back of the grid. The server is set to not allow anyone to join after qualifying starts. Closed qualifying is to avoid the pause drivers get when a new car joins the event.

    2) The qualifying driver for the car must start the race.

    Warm-up

You need to be back in the cockpit and ready to go when the server switches from warm-up to the driver call-up. If you miss the start, we're sorry, but we cannot restart for a driver.

    Starting Procedures

    1) The driver call-up for the race is set for 60 seconds. That means you have 60 seconds to check the settings on your car, tighten your belts, and appear on the grid.

    2) The track is set for a standing start. At the green lights and waving green flag, SLOWLY!!! roll off the grid and maintain your position.

    3) The polesitter should maintain a constant speed of 80kph.

    4) Keep a 3 car separation from the car in front of you, and offset to their position. Contact with the car in front of you may result in a drive through penalty after the start of the race.

    5) Get into 2x2 formation immediately after T3 (the keyhole) and start to slowly build up speed.

    6) Race control will call a verbal "get ready" when the last row of cars is on the straightaway.

    7) Race control will call a verbal "green, green green" to start the race. You'll need Teamspeak 3 monitoring
    capabilities. :)

    8) No race restarts unless race control calls a red flag.

    9) The graphic below shows the approximate position for the start. Note: The race FINISH is the usual S/F line.

    10) If you miss the grid, you will be able to start from the pit lane, but WAIT for the green light or you will be disqualified by rFactor 2. The field will pass through sector 1, so it'll take a little while. Don't be impatient! ;)

    Driver Swaps

Reminder only two drivers per team should be on the rFactor 2 server at one time -- the current driver and the driver leaving/or about to take over as driver.

Always good to do a practice race. :)

For the Six Hour start, everyone be sure and move into 2 x 2 position first time around right after the keyhole turn.

Your post isn't clear at all, you showed us a map where there is a "Start" and you said "Here you can see the start", and you talked about another start place. Doh ?
We are re thinking a lot of things, thoses tires are worse than the Pirelli 2012 with the MR01 and half of the little grid don't know the rules for the start at one week of the race.
I don't want to look like the moaning guys but there is still time to save it and make this event a good one for all.

Which tire are you using, PZ01, or PZ02? Right now, they are pretty much the C6 tires right now.

Fair enough. Image description edited. Make better sense now?

Yes, everyone should read the PDF between now and next Sunday.

    Suggested changes?

I tried PZ01 in qualy and that was horrible, PZ02 are better for us but man, the first stint, we start with 1 16 and lost 4/5 seconds without even finishing the fuel we had in (and the track have some rubber, imagine with green track).
That's about the front tires, the rear don't wear. The front overheat a lot and wear a lot.
Maybe because they use stability, one team did a lot better in the opening stint but that's weird to us.
Maybe we just didn't test enough yet.

Another thing that surprised us is the non variation of temperature 29 air 29 track all the time.

Appart that, the server stability was ok, the soft for change driver/spectator mod is wonderful and trafic was ok on track.

And the announce on TS were clear & worked fine.

Tires will change for the SCES series, but I think it takes 4 hours or something to build the tires in the game, so I don't know if they can be updated this week.

We know in one week it's hard, anyways, that's feedback.
We give our feelings to you in idea to help.
You take what you want in that. ;)

If you need drivers to test sometimes, ask. ;)
