I don't use any aids in game , but if the car has it in real life, so what's the point to not using it?! this is simulation and the game should simulate the TC too

 

Ok but TC, is I think simulated has a driving aid in rf2 engine and not on per car basis. I don't even think a modder can interract with TC or ABS. Ales can surely clarify this for us, Ales?

 

I was not talking about the TC itself, i was talking about the blue lights that blink when the rear tires spin (or when the TC is activated, IDK) that the C7r has...

You can't deny that it helps saving tires, and BTW this cars have TC, but no ABS.

And yes, if Ales can clarify, the doubts will end...

 

No Sim simulates the TC as it should be! in the real life, TC should make you drive better and going faster, but with every sim it is the opposite! For example in AC with the TC I'm almost 1sec' slower(with the z4-GT @ Silverstone) than disabled TC!

 

In real life TC will also slow you down, that's why race drivers use the minimum possible (They can regulate it's intensity)

 

It doesn't make you slower, only if you have it a mode where it is hysterical...

Drivers on a top level use it for stability and consistency, not speed... They can drive as fast on one lap without TC, the hard thing is to apply the throttle the best way possible every single lap, which is hard and pretty much impossible... The TC makes that easier, more consistant.

 

exactly, very important when you drive 3 hours streight.

 

Look in F1 where the TC makes you going much more faster! It is a fact, the F1 were faster when they were using TC and there was some speculation that the RB was using some sort of tC last year which was the main reason of the RB success!

Just wondering... the Darche is by default (i.e. the AI using) the 2014 or 2013 front?

This is a shame because how to visually simulate a 2013 season with AI then? I have all the 2013 skins togehter... will they look weird now?

Worth everyone checking for me the 97 car still has no interior but the 98 does, guess a line was missed from the team file?

Nevermind, it seems even though i uninstalled it, it did not remove the files as a rfmod was blocking it.

 

Old skins still fit on new one.

Did you remove the old AM completly? Both cars use same files, nothing specific there.

F1 have a power to weight ratio of 1:1, the amount of wheelspin they get on the rear is absurd and TC helped prevent a few rear slideouts, but TC off only means you modulate how you push your pedal instead of being able to hammer it down and be saved by TC. You can't compare GT cars to F1.
