Is that because you're using a different rf2 build to what's on the server?

 

Lol... what the hell have I done wrong now? Darche works great, but when loading track with the AM I get an error message like "failed to load am cockpit style 2" something, and when I enter track, I'm driving the temp car

 

Unfortunately very little i can do on that front, as annoying as it is.

If a group of people want to say arrange a time to go on, i'll happily restart the server at that time to get everyone in, in one go.

 

#98 works fine #97 gave me error message and a temp car!

 

i have 494, i assumed the server uses last public build still?

 

Both cars working fine here.

Remove it and go to rFactor2\Installed\Vehicles check if AM_EGT is still there, delete that and install it again.
I have tested the car few times, both cars and even now as you mentioned, works fine here.

 

I just noticed that it only crashes when I choose "clean windscreen". When I choosed "dirty windscreen" it worked.

 

Yeah, I just tried the clean AM windscreen and it crashed with multiple errors. Perfect with dirt though

 

Same error here but running with dirty screen isn't really a problem. I just came to report the error and as usual, I was too slow.

 

Youre right, on the gmt file for style2 its missing "_" beetwen names. Sorry, avoid clean screen for now please.

 

Yeah no problem with dirty screen, but I prefer clean car and screen when just doing a track day Anyway, I don't think I'll drive this car very much, simply because the Darche is so much better. It feels more alive and the FFB feels better

Just one thing about the Darche sound.. I like it, but I think it's missing some bass. In that area, the old sound was better. Now there's absolutely no bass sound at all, and the engine sound is very quiet from exterior view. It feels like something is missing. But the sound itself is really good

 

If i choose #97 of AM car then i get this, also i must hit enter(this mean some error or something?) during loading track to finish loading.

Here a test run @ Putnam Park with the default setup.
I don't why, but it seems that the AA doesn't work well in my system and I have to figure out...

I like the new version really much. The cockpits look great and the AM sounds superb.

Two things are not so nice in my opinion.

1) Darche HUD is not like in reality i think
2) Sound of Darche was better in previous version. Especially downshifting was much better.

I'll hold my opinion about the new sounds. But the sounds in the previous version were not good.

 

AM LCD is completly same model as on Bayro. The only diferente ive seen is that it turns red once its in pit or with pit limiter but i need to check more about that.

 

i think they are some sort of standart issue LCDs

 

I think the gear ratios are to short on AM, Bayro, Vette and Darche for offline race because they run into the limiter on Long straights while the Venom is nearly 10-20km/h faster.

 

so.. why dont you change the gear ratios?
