One of my favourite tracks in rfactor 1. Thanks So is this scratch made or a conversion? I won't list bugs yet because you surely know that there are quite many in version 0.1
Got to agree for v0.1 its very very good, the bumps in the track feel really nice through the wheel and I have had a blast in the LOLA on one of my favorite tracks. Thanks for releasing it early. I don't seem to see real road rubber building up..is that not implemented yet?
You can cut every corner here without any penalty. There is also some points where you fall into emptyness.
Same here AI and FPS are very good, never below 74 even on the pit straight. Maybe there is something wrong with the real road. I can't see rubber on track... Thank you for this nice track.
You're really aren't supposed to drive over those red saucages on the inside of the curbs, they should pretty much launch your car in the air Looks good so far apart from that!
The track is bumpy because is very low poly resolution. View attachment 6762 the blue lines is the track, have only 3 vertices per section. This is a file conversion not a track conversion.
Funny thing is people always mention this, I never deliberately cut any tracks so never notice it. If you race online and people do this then they are just simply cheats and so let them be happy by being faster but needing to cheat in order to do it. Track does look nice but road surface needs a redo I think, cornering gets bad bumps under load simply due to the low poly surface. Thanks though and if the surface gets improved or upgraded it will be one of my favorite tracks.
I'm not concerned by cheaters but it's good to know the limits (for example how much kerb you can use before your lap does not count). Also the sand on this track is so smooth that it does not slow you down enough. If you for example miss the braking point you can just easily cut from the sand without any time loss.
Thanks for graphically showing this Mario, does that mean it was just as bumpy in rF1? And are there so many differences in rF2 to car fidelity that it now simply feels rougher? Anyway, looks cool, one of my favourite tracks- Thanks Raggnator!
Exactly. Rf2 engine need more poly resolution on the surface. In Lienz i need to add 8 vertices per section to feel smooth.
Thats why they have to make the inside curb saucages as high as in real life, don't worry, nobody will go near it anymore
