Mate, i wait your convert track for rFactor 2. I hope we can released both things: our mod and your tracks for our community.
Are you going to fix the bumps as well? They appear quite a bit too high. As far as the realroad, maybe those black spots, if you meant those, were just smoothing issues on the road mesh
The Problem with the Realroad is that there are to few Polys, see picture 1 The Black spot on the Track, in Picture 2, is also a problem, that I dont know to solve. And the Black asphalt next to the Track is the Problem, that it is the Same material that is used in 4 Corners on the Track, also the Corner with the black spot. See picture 2 and 3. pic 1: http://www.abload.de/img/polysw5sqa.png pic 2: http://www.abload.de/img/grab_0685zs9y.jpg pic 3: http://www.abload.de/img/grab_0696as1g.jpg
By the moment i am working on some licences to Convert maybe the Norisring from Com8 and some other tracks
I am very sorry but I need to end converting the Tracks, because I have not enough time for that, while I am doing my technical diploma. I will upload the rf tracks and if someone will work on them he can do it. But I will upload the finished tracks of course, which are Nuerburgring and Valencias Circuit de Ricardo Tormo.
Ich liebe Oschersleben! My first ever online win came at this track so it has always been one of my favorites. I can't wait for this track pack- some of the greatest tracks in the world are in Deutschland.
That would be awesome! Driving with one of your DTM skins on the Nuerburgring...could there be anything better?
i have uploaded the tracks now, only Nuerburgring and Norisring have realroad and reflections. Eurospeedway, Brands Hatch, Red Bull Ring, Norisring, Oschersleben and Zandvoort have no Realroad, reflections and shadows. on Red Bull Ring, Valencia and Zandvoort the AI dont drive good. I will Say that the tracks are not the best so you can leave comments like, the tracks are bad... you can change the tracks on your own if you can do it better then me.
Hi EraZr1, I'm also working on Track converting, with my own Tools. Because I wanted to drive my favorite tracks with the realistic simulation of rF2. My realroad conversions is for now very simple and not finished. For now I'm analyse how the TuTv values have to be set for realroad. (not figured yet out everyting) For each realroad vertex in the gmt file, at least 6 Tu/Tv values for the material textures are stored. F.e. the Tu/Tv[4] value holds the main channel for the visible main track surface texture. The first 2 and some others, seems to be responsible for the realroad effect. Now try to find a way to recalculate the real realroad Tu/Tv values and store them directly in a copy of the gmt file. I'm working of an converter that does this automaticly. If necessary this converter could automaticly add more vertices and faces to improve the track texture Resolution (tessellation). If i succeed in recalculation of realroad GMT Vertices TuTv Koordinates, then I could try to improove your tracks or give you a copy of my converter tool. I will try to download your track and test it (also have very few time ). How do you got your permissions or licenses to convert and publish your tracks? Leonardo1962
