Well, I did the update (due to past experiences ) and love the update; some more eyecandy is nice and only costs a few (around 5) fps. Good job. I tried Monaco and at the end of the "straight" uphill, I saw a complete restaurant missing
no mate lol... rF2_v1118-v1125_118-125 my mate got same error...another didnt...might be one of those things full install worked fine as expected
Looking forward to getting my hands on this update! I'd love to have a look into some shader writing, finally! (And especially can't wait to see what the likes of Kscezch (sp?) and others will do with this!)
I have terrible fps at the new track with the skippy, the last bend is the worse as low as 26fps. Full grid & all maxed graphics is my settings,
no mate...just dont have your own game running and login with your current account while you update the dedi...other option is to upload your own core folder to the dedicated server once youve updated your game
This update took much longer than we had planned or anyone expected. I realize our development pace is not what many would like. We will continue to use all of our best efforts to move the simulation forward. Our hope is that over time as rF2 continues to evolve, we will attract new members to this community of racers. For those with us now, I thank each of you for your patience and continued support. We really are grateful to be part of such a cool group of race sim enthusiasts.
Every user has 5 activations, and it's still you using the server, right? You just can't use two activated machines as clients at the same time. All this does is uses one of your activations. Or, you can use the full installed and not use one.
I've had a choppy period when I first get in a session, then it goes away. Make sure you stay in the session long enough to see if it does. It should only be 10 seconds, if it's the same thing I had.
Wowser. Before you reinstall (which is what I tink you will have to do), please check if any other tracks do this and swipe a screenshot? Thank you.
