I get some error message in mod manager when I click on the track...is that normal? Install went fine dispite of that.
This looks great! Though my rFactor crashes when clicking "Race". I have so many problems with the latest rFactor build, blegh
Yeh I got this too TIG... a message flashed up (can`t remember what it said though) I clicked install again and it installed fine and runs well.
It could simply be from one or more "bad" tracks installed. Not hard to check, go into "mod manager" and uninstall all tracks except a few ISI tracks, (not delete, just uninstall) Targa should run then. (there may be a few DTM tracks, just being in the packages folder that may cause crash) *just finished downloading and running, works good, only ran a couple of miles with ISI's 370z.
Thanks for making rf2 version, been waiting long time for this. Yeah i get this too, I found making vmods helps reduce all the conflicts, instead of using 'all tracks and cars'. Here is vMod of the 1960s cars including G4+G6 that should help get the track running. View attachment 10266 I'm finding turning off mirrors I get lots more FPS, a tip for all.
Now that we have the track and we have people working on it together, I hope ISI can give us an update on how far along this "silver car" and we see it soon! One concern is that we have 2 tracks. Can those who are working on the track please post here with your intent and maybe we can create a development thread so that people are not doing redundant work. If everyone pulls as a team, the project will come together not only more quickly but also will look better in the end.
I havent checked but the problem of the error is very likely to happen if blank spaces have been used instead of "_" in the location component name. Editted: Does the track have real road implemented? Enviado desde mi GT-I9505 usando Tapatalk 2
WOW! That controversy died down in a hurry due to a timely intervention from a impeccable source indeed! Thank you so much to Kuato for placating the moral indignation of the copyright patrol (ISI forum division [self appointed]) before they got they're collective knickers too twisted and a full blown fukushima/chernobil style forum meltdown occurred! Everyone is happyhappyhappy
F3 server up! VirtuaProRacing.com Was going to do the Howston, but Revival Racing has that covered. That, and I don't think I can keep a Howston on the road for 40 minutes
The kuato version and the GUBBA version are the same, yet different. Try them both and report back here. kuato version- prettier with better skybox and roadside objects. Roadside stone pillar things are removable and the wooden stakes have some resistance. very low grip all around the track. Some 1st gear corners are very difficult to get through because even barely moving the front wheels slide. There are at least 3 separate places where there is a curious and almost random bump that is nasty and sent me into a wall. They did not appear to be intentional as there was no visual representation of the bumps. GUBBA version- the actual road surface looks better and there is a lot more grip (much more realistic IMHO). Off the road surface, doesn't look quite as good. Can you guys who have put up servers let us know which version you have up? I think it'd be a good point of reference if one of the servers had kuato's version and the other have GUBBA's. Maybe it would be possible to take the best of both versions and make one version for all.
Well pleased how his has turned out - congrats Guy on a job well done my friend, & thankyou kuato & Georg
I didn't know this track was at this stage, it's a very good news . It looks nice in 3D with clear hdr, dust, houses, etc, very good feeling overall. I've not noticed weird graphics objects but I've made only few laps with a megane behind ai to learn the track. Thank you very much for all the hard work.
