I've just tested in build 798 and both 32-bit and 64-bit plugins work fine. Are you putting them into the correct folders? 32-bit: Bin32\Plugins\rF2PedalOverlayPlugin.dll 64-bit: Bin64\Plugins\rF2PedalOverlayPlugin_x64.dll
Hi Thanks TechAde for this precious tool, gonna eagerly try this tonight on my last settings to see how much/little I was close to the zone by my own feelings... As a side question, I'm a software developer but rather used to Delphi IDEs than C++ VS/Eclipse/..., and I'd like to put my hands on the InternalPlugin.hpp thingy but my last attempt (with a fresh install of Eclipse Helios for C++) was a big fail partly because I'm really bad on the make file options and syntax... Would you know of a nice example I could find and start from, without having to mess too much with make file options...? (my B plan would be to translate the hpp file into Pascal language but it's another hell of a conundrum as my C++ directives' syntax lessons are very far behind...) now I know google is my friend, but still, nothing beats a neat example...
I think this can help you : http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/20419-TUTORIAL-Listen-UDP-trame-inside-rF2-plugin http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/20426-TUTORIAL-Send-UDP-trame-from-rF2-plugin http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/20429-TUTORIAL-Draw-Text-and-Image-from-rF2-plugin
that's not precisely what I was looking for here but it might become pretty handy at some point nevertheless. Thanks!
ok, cool, didn't know they had a free version of this... If it works as you said it should be what I needed then, thanks
This plugin used to work for me. However, after upgrading to build 798 and downloading version 11 of the Pedaloverlay plugin, I don't get any graphs on the screen. rFactor 2 is running as 64bit version. The 2 DLL-files are extracted to \rfactor2\plugins. There are already 2 other DLL-files present in that location, they are called TrackIR_rF2_Plugin.dll and TrackIR_rF2_Plugin_x64.dll, so I would expect the location to be the right one. I have tried pressing G in-game, but that disables hardware plugins. Any ideas on what to try? For what it is worth, I am running Windows 8.1 64-bit. Cheers Simon
Plugin is working but i cant move it to make full visible. I can see only the throtle and ffb graphs. I tried to add the file rF2PedalOverlayPlugin.ini to the plugin directory but still cant move it. If i run the plugin without the ini on that folder a new file is not created. I am using the 64 bit version. Help? [General] OverlayEnabled=True OffsetX=0 OffsetY=1015 BarWidth=12 BarHeight=50 DetailedLog=False FilteredInputs=True
+1 from this rFactor2 newb Is there an easy way to move the overlay screen position similar to iracing or assetto corsa? I see a post above and not being computer-knowledgeable it makes no sense to me! sorry!
I love this plugin, but I get inaccurate timings (says I'm >10 seconds faster than I am) and lots of toggling between plus and minus times after a few laps. I'm using 798, 32-bit.
