Can somebody please make a basic plane track which gets loaded without errors. It would be very helpful for me I hope someone is able to fulfill my request.

There is already a max file out there for Joesville. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/1573-Modding-Downloads Only settings you need is Collide and Hat checked (plus make sure that = True in the scn file) and the material name to be in the tdf to get a basic driveable plane in game. This is as basic as you can get. Mianiak has released a test track that you could look at also. Requires a tic of work to get it loading, but if you search for the post it explains why. If your getting errors loading it, what errors are you getting?
With the help from Johannes I got my basic plane ingame! Thank You...! Now i have to check what shaders are used for what and things like that
This might seem like a silly question (because people usually read documentation before they start things), but since I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread I'll ask it anyway. Have you read through the documentation? http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/1573-Modding-Downloads rF2_Track_Technologyv3.pdf - 01-31-2012
I am glad I was able to help you get started The actual Max file for my track is not very helpful since it has only basic T1 shaders everywhere, nothing fancy at all.
Good stuff . This might help you with the materials, it needs timing gates added to work in game though. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/2521-Test-track-for-anyone-to-use
Open the Joesville section then you can see how the Real Road is implemented , if you texture your road like they did like "road_TrackMAIN_WET" then you will see the rubber getting on the track as you drive, it worked for me.
I have some Problems with 3ds max 2012.... I work on my track mesh, save it and reopen the max file later. Sometimes an object is complete missing or deformed http://www.chogger.de/error.png What can I do against this?
Sounds and looks like data corruption. Did or do you experience any harddisk issues? Any other programs giving you errors, which could point to an issue with your RAM?
Definitively not. I found out, that if I copy the file before some parts get deformed and open the copy i don't have the problem. But when i reopen the original file it remains damaged... Now i'm allways saving twice before opening files...
I'm pushing my old track back to the top So, i can bring a track mesh textured ingame without problems... Now i am starting to work on the grass areas. I'm searching for the best solution to create these grass areas. How do you guys create them? Which technique do you use? Example: http://www.chogger.de/track.png
