Isn't that in part build related? Some videos of early rF2 builds look better than now IMO

look, here, I took 5 minutes and I edited the begining of a video that I already did and added some Color correction filter. don't juge the quality of the CC as I really did this in 5 minutes. I even decided to put the sky yellow for the last shot just for fun (I know it is spilling a little):

here is without any CC effects:

Here it is with quick CC effect:

If you are curious too see the full video, here it is:

I use Reshade/SweetFX and can get rF2 to look anyway i want. For now i use more sharpness to see the texture in the tarmac REALLY well along with the rest of the textures and contrast for deep shadows and to get rid a bit of the "brightness haze" that i experience on my monitors in rF2. There are tons of settings though and i can make the sim look very very different. Not much of impact either on FPS. My sharpness/contrast + slight vibrance doesnt seem to do anything to FPS. Maybe max 1FPS. So its possible to tweak it to look really nice. If you want my functioning set just ask, and you can tweak it yourself. :)

If i start adjusting things the game will look really bad. How can i get my game to look natural, atm it just seems washed out and blueish. Ive removed and cleaned everything, shaders, bash, json, control and restarted it but it doesn't look nice and colourful.

@2ndLastJedi Can you take a screenshot or video? If yours doesn't look something like that first vid it would probably help everyone to see what you do have.

It could be that your monitor just needs calibration. Cheap TN monitors tend to have colors and gamma off, I recommend an IPS monitor unless you are into 120/144Hz stuff. Some people complain about "washed out" look of rF2, but you are the first one I hear say it's too bluish, which suggests it's your monitor that is at least part of the issue.

With Reshade/SweetFX you can combat all those things like monitors being too bluish/greenish/bright etc.

That's all fair enough, but if he's looking at other videos/screenshots on the same monitor and saying they look better, it sort of rules that out.

And seems to be track dependant.

Yes it depends on the track, some others like Red Bull Ring are so damn dark :(
    This inconsistency is very annoying
