Years later and rF2 still csnt look this good?

Nah , im beginning to realise its the textures and lack of lighting effects like bloom/glare and but mostly textures , i think ?

 

Hi, I can only recommend the reshade package - works perfectly with rF2
I use it only to adjust the hue and contrast something, which makes the spatial impression already times (and no frame losses) ...

!oh - and after config your settings (ingame = SHIFT+F2) for what you want, install it again, an deactivate the shaders you don't use ... improved loading time ...

 

Not seeing anymore input lag on/off sweetFX. But yeah i agree - more graphics options please.

I used reshade several builds ago and deleted it again because I messed up some settings.
It would be great to have some more visual configurations available such as gamma, contrast, blur etc.
One off topic questions to the gfx experts
Is dx11 going to impact on framerate? Better or worse?

 

No expert here but don't modern GPU's run alot better on DirectX 11 and seem to struggle on DX9, so i would assume we should see a substantial increase in performance. Hence pCars and AC having lots of eye candy but can still maintain good fps at Maximum settings even @4k with my GTX 1070.
Again im no experts more like eggspurt.lol
