This was a hard one to decide because "favourite" can mean so many different things. Is it the car that captured your attention when it showed up in rF2? Or is it the most authentically modeled car? Or is it the car that handles the best? Or the car that provides the most challenge for you? So I went with the car that captured my attention when it showed up in rF2, the Howston. More specifically, it was the '65 Howston because I'd like to replicate the 1.5 years of the USRRC before CanAm.
How can you just have " Historics " ( blink ) For me it is the F3 Eve For mine it is so complete it almost feels like rF2 was based around this car.
This is tough! The Howstons are simply insane, and I love 'em! The Skippy is relentless in making you drive it properly. The Civic is heaps of fun. But I think I've got to go with the Corvette. Fast, powerful, and a real challenge to keep the tyres in good shape for a full stint.
I like to drive all the cars at times ..... in between some Karting sessions so that's it, my favorite are the Karts (and that is before I tried the update of today )
I am curious though, what the favorites of the ISI crew are??? Tim Wheatley, Gjon Camaj, Jeremy Miller, Tuttle, and others??? I mean, everyone must have personal favorites (and if I remember correct Tim's are the historics, because of GPL??? EDIT:: allthough when clicking results I see Tim, like me, voted for the Go-Karts )
No Brabham listed I not be surprised one of the ISI guys picks it. You cant include BT20 with Historics, the 3 F1's ( Spark, Eve BT20 ) are totally different to drive imo.
agreed, re.bt20 totally amazed how these sim master pieces seem to get side stepped, is it because people don't have the time ( or patience ) to get use to them .......something that takes longer than all the sim cars on that list yet will pay back 10 fold
Cant believe stock Vette does not have a vote either Longford, especially at night the suspension, body roll and the wind-shear, fantastic.
Yeah mine too just shades out the NSX, try a online race at Longford day/night , couple of Highway patrols and some Vettes and NSX to chase. "Pit Manouver" ! Never laughed so hard driving sims. lol You almost expect to hear the old " Spike strip is deployed " or whatever it was NFS said.
Surprised me Historics "combined" ( Historic f1/f2/f3 / Howston G4/G6 ) polls around 32-33% atm If I was honest I would have thought it would be lower.
For me its Formula Masters. Its a privilage to drive one made by the guys who built sim for Formula One teams. I drove it without a single doubt in my head.
I like all of the cars but I find myself drawn to the F2's; they are a blast to drive and I feel at home in them despite having no idea why! 'Tis a shame the real series folded.
