    Is it happening on a specific car, or all cars? The clip planes are set per car, so I don't know if it can be changed globally.

    ..also.. the ability to turn off seats (or at least the wings on gt seats) the way R3E does.
    Nothing worse than turning sideways in VR and looking inside your seat.

    Exactly.. but in rf2 you see partially through or worse "inside" the seat because your head clips into it. The solution is relatively simple, no need to to even think tank it, r3e already solved this problem with a toggle switch for VR players

    It happens on multiple cars. For example when you look towards the side in the Skip Barber cars. Dave Drewhurst mentioned he had the problem in the Ligier.
    It would be good if we could have a global override to set the near clipping plane.

    Ok, I'll see if it's possible.

    You missed his point. I believe he was saying...
    A) A real driver in a real car CANNOT see past the wings They don't have the range of motion required with the helmet locked into the Neck Restraint System. Thus VR drivers should also have their vision blocked.
    <my addendum>
    B) rF2 is not RRE. Just because one sim does something does not mean every other sim will follow suit. They MAY, who knows?

    That was exactly what I meant.
    I always felt like that was “cheating” when looking through the wings in ACC…

    in the real world your head is not restrained, these are just glorified games, and you are actiually sitting at a computer, not in a car, and its very easy to end looking through or into your seat, so unless RF2 sells with head restraints for office chairs moving forward the simpler solution would be the switch so the user experience is not spoiled, those die hards who want to imagine a tv game is more than it is, dont need to flick the switch?

    It's an easy thing for a car maker to change in the .cam file, but it does have a side affect if it's set too low.
    The side affect is it can makes Z-Fighting worse.
    Here is an example video of the Clip setting set to 10mm. See the white road lines now have Z-Fighting. Changing it back to a number like 70mm the problem goes away.

    So it's only something that can be done per car and not globally?
