Quick question. Is it possible to implement the bending in the pipe plastic stuff in the cockpit.
That's not something I need personaly I am just curious.

I think it should be possible for sure as we have the awesome tires also but is it possible for modders to implement such stuff already?

 

afaisi the gearbox sound has improved a lot.
the engine is still different.
and also the engine is quite a bit louder.
its pretty difficult to even hear the gearbox, except for those moments when the driver lifts the throttle.

 

Before you guys move forward, I'd highly recommend you fix the exhaust flame animation in this mod.

 

I was thinking about it, right now i dont think its posibile. Maybe i will be able to add animation related in the future but have to test it. Problem right now it will not look life, even if i do it animation wise it will be like whole track the same and will not move/vibrate when wanted.

Yeah, still tweaking that out, have to test some gear whine sounds i have from my other work to.

This mod is looking better and better !
AI looks very good (of course if AI is used on video above?)
I just don't like overall aspect of cockpit hud. Blue and yellow colours look too strong and different numbers indicators (rank and laps) don't fit into the boxes.

 

I could live with the car as it is, but as mentioned before, tranny sound not loud enough as compared to engine sound, and the exhaust flash is too arcad-ish compared to overall car.

I am quite confident you will fix all.
Fantastic to see you putting the effort in to make a 1st rate mod!

 

would be alright if the mod worked i will wait for the next update or a link tyvm.
dwnloaded but never worked car installed but game says its not no essington 1.2 release i could find with a link that worked.

Hi, hmm, you dont need any track or anything to be working whit that car, in series menu just check the "all track & cars" button and you should be able to see the car in the car menu.
As its a componet file only even whit no sounds installed it should load up actually.

Tried out the car last night, wanted to post my opinions about it.

Pros:

- Visuals ( 3D Model looks really good, one of the best cars in rF2 so far )
- Sounds ( not perfect but they are ok for me )

Cons:

- Physics ( Think the car is way too stable and grippy in corners. I do know those cars have alot of downforce and are grippy, but i can just plant my right foot down hard whenever i want and force the car into corners as i want. Other cars have a much better feel to whats going on with the tires and believable reactions if you abuse the car. I dont know for sure what part of the physics is the problem, because the car feels pointy and direct, like i think those hardcore-touring cars are, but maybe its the tire that you can abuse just way too much without the car letting go )

heh yeah, true, sorry about that. Should be more about the overall fun whit AI fights in rf2.
