ok, so its obviously something wrong with my install as having gone back to it today, non of my layout was saved either. Shut down the game and restarted, and again the layout is lost. Anyone have any ideas? pretty please?
I am using it with the pedals overlay and deltabest - no other plugins

Does anybody have stuttering issues in 64 bit? It's so annoying...

TBH I've never tried 64bit without TM :D So it's not related to trackmap but game issue?

hi, I have installed the V0.95 and deleted the previous file, the gid works perfectly in 64 bit but after moving the box if I go to RF2 and then return the box are new in the default location, hi checked in the menu and I saved the configuration in "all sessions" but nothing.
Also, do not save me a map of the circuit after the loading procedure.
    does anyone know help me?
    thanks

Could depend e.g. on your hardware setup. Just try x64 without TM to compare.

If you use Windows 8.1 run the game as administrator, I had the same problem.

Im windows 7, but will try it anyways

Edit - you beauty Bigtool. It probably becuase I am using windows 7 ultimate...but yeah that fixes it.

@foremar - you need to run as administrator to learn new tracks or change the layout of boxes. You can run normally any other time

Indeed, for an MS OS with active user account control (UAC), any time that an app needs to make changes to files within folders in Program Files(x86)\rFactor2, you may need to run the program as administrator. I suggest, if it is possible to do so, that the authors re-write the plugin to support the TrackMap folder being located in the My Documents\rFactor2 folder where administrative rights to alter the trackmapconf.txt file and add extracted GDB & AIW files to the Tracks folder would not be needed rather than the current location in Program Files(x86)\rFactor\Plugins\.

I disabled UAC both in 7 and 8.1 (I have a dual boot and it's the first thing that I do after I install the OS) but with 8.1 I still have a lot of this issues...

I use windows 7, the computer is only used for playing and I access solely and exclusively as an administrator, but last night I tried again but nothing, if I move the box and go out of the game, when back in the game layout is the default.
I'm still using build 798 but I do not think that's the problem.
    Others have the same problem?
    thanks

Even if it's offtopic, but i think the default location is unfortunately chosen by ISI. Also this 2-different-folders-for-core-and-stuff isn't a good solution. It's quite confusing to find the right location for installing mods, plugins and addons. It would be better to have only one rF2 folder, and all the settings 'n' stuff would go to the Documents folder. This is how other programs and games usually handle it.

Yes, me too: rF2 is entirely installed in one folder (and not in C hard drive)...and it works fine.
