I tried building it from source: it compiled after a struggle but linking with Qt and stuff is not going well
The bugs are: spaces left after saving making sounds muted, sometimes makes reversed sections so game throws error.
Tried this tool but fails to load .sfx file. I have a folder on desktop called "test". Inside this folder is the .sfx and a subfolder called "sounds" with engine .wav files inside. The sfx searches the files in desktop/test/sounds Am I doing something wrong here? Thank you.
Check if the Entries in the SFX File matches your Path. As an Example, here is an Entry of the SkipBarber VS_INSIDE_POWER_ENGINE_1=1.3,SkipBarber\skipb_in_onidle.wav If you would load this SFX File, your Path, where the Wav Files are, would have to be test\sounds\SkipBarber If you can not get it working with your outsourced Folder, use the DevMode. There it definitely works.
Thank you Chris. It worked. Now I need to play with it to get decent sounding engine. Engine sound seems lower than idle. I have to amplify them through the .sfx file. Do you normalized the sound volumes in Audacity before exporting then?
