This! You "just" need to allow the EV and ICE to be together in the same car as right now they aren't. Regen is already there
Just hope they allow more configs like setting it via GPS and throttle % setting to have it running

Perhaps I haven't expressed myself clearly. I meant that if there are still such fundamental, issues since the beginning like proper drivetrain and clutch simulation with H pattern shiftier, then I wouldn't expect S397 to implement proper hybrid support too. But maybe they focus only on new features and "forget" what's on TODO list.

I understand, but people who make vehicles is not the same as people who develop physics.
Then it's possible than the TODO list of features has nothing to do with making a hybrid car.
We don't know if rF2 is already prepared to implement both systems together.
