If GPL had never cracked the track length you would not have it. :)

GPLs has led the way on scratch, I could start rattling them off.

Remember the EA period 01-02 ? " GPL is dead for sure now ! " hehehe

No one other then GPL mods were interested in old cars and tracks.

Much after GTR#1 more so GTL interest in early stuff had a resurgence imo.

So if GPL did die back then we would not have all its classic conversions would we.

I just make the distinction, nothing more.

I'd be lying if I said I wish Targa came to iRacing. At least then I know I'd be able to race against other drivers online :( :(:(

I think comparing the average learning curve for Nords in GPL and rF2 is interesting.

rF2 gives great feedback and from what I have seen in my F3 Room, rookies are
much better then in other sims there.

In F1C-GTR -GTL most rookies were lucky to complete even a slow lap.

    rF2 gives more confidence.

The thing about the Targa is that it is actually like 6 or so different tracks strung together-which is to say that each section has its own unique flavor. The section between the last two towns, for example, is quite a bit faster than all the preceding ones, and the turns there are also unique. A symphony in asphalt.

They are way too busy personally as far as I know, and Georg (6e66o) is working for SimBin apparently :)
Any enquires about helping out can be directed at him directly through PM as they are probably still happy to hear what you can bring to the project.

Yup, pretty much. The beta track & max files are available if someone here gets motivated to tackle this beast.

It will probably take longer to get it than it would take for me to drive it.

We are working on the Targa, we're focusing in getting feedback from the track, because of that we need to add polys for the realroad to work propperly. It will be a long job but we're going slow but sure. As soon as we have any pictures to show you we'll post them here.

The cam file is already fixed and covers the whole track

We have no idea what objects could be, could you please take a screenshot so we can see it?

All we're asking it's lots of patience ;)

    Regards.
