some bacon may have been eaten in the process thojust buy them . . . you will not regret it
no pigs were harmed in the making of these cars![]()
T5 2018 looks and physics are awesome (as expected).
But compared with 2012/13 pack, what on earth has happened to the engine sounds?
Is the modelled engine 4L-V8 or is it new 2019 spec turbocharged 2.0L?
Yeah... the sound is a shame for such a great mod... it takes away a lot of fun and immersion...
It sounds like a baby DTM car ... :-(
If you have a very good ear you may notice some difference between them in real life, kinda like Indycar Honda and Chevy engine, they sound different but it's hard to notice. Super GT had some more differences when they introduced the 4 cyl engines, the Lexus would sound very different on high revs (or was its turbo idk). Other than that only the HSV had a very different sound in first 2 seasonsI don't really watch DTM racing or know about it, but it would appear from this MOD, all engine sounds are identical, regardless of selecting BMW, Mercedes or Audi. Is this realistic?
i was at some DTM races at Hockenheim and some years ago Oschersleben... there is nearly no difference between the different cars... but they are really loud ...I don't really watch DTM racing or know about it, but it would appear from this MOD, all engine sounds are identical, regardless of selecting BMW, Mercedes or Audi. They testet the turbo engines for the 2019 DTM Season and the driver say you can now hear the difference between the cars... at least between audi and bmw... i think mercedes wasnt at the test and aston martin needs some time till the first testIf you have a very good ear you may notice some difference between them in real life, kinda like Indycar Honda and Chevy engine, they sound different but it's hard to notice. I used to buy everything made by URD for rF2, but no more. I will not buy another new mod until they update their old mods. All of the old mods are still being sold by them in their online shop, so the expectation is they are supported mods.
Alless knows I have been a strong supporter from even before URD became a reality. I feel let down right now.
That was exactly the reason, why i was asking for an information thread for the 2018 mod...There is absolutely no indication that these mods are not only no longer supported, but also no indication at all that they are not built to the current game standard. You need to update your mod descriptions so that any unsuspecting customers are fully aware of these facts, otherwise one could be justified in accusing you of deceptive conduct. Not every customer reads these forums, nor do they read every comment on facebook, but every customer does read the mod description in your online store.
That are 2 completly differente things what you and John are now saying. From first post of John to his second. That was exactly the reason, why i was asking for an information thread for the 2018 mod...
We have been allways open and explained the situation. And the only "beta" that actually was at stage was PX package and we work on it now.URD has had and still has an unnaceptable behavior especially towards these customers, who have trusted URD even for the betas.
But the fact is that the Detroit and in particular the DTMs are really good, and that URD has obviously improved these skills ..... so we buy ......
a sincere MEA CULPA from URD would have been welcome.
Having a bad day?Be smart, guys. Vote with your wallets. The idea of "I'll buy this crap to support devs" is beyond ridiculous. What's happening is that the devs see that no matter how little effort they put in their product, people will buy regardless. Now we're stuck with stuff endlessly in beta stage, early access and so on. Nobody cares to finish something anymore.
So they sold unfinished cars, disappeared for months, then come back as if there was no issue. And the best part is the screwed up people asking for more ! Money grabbing people have a bright future for themselves.
Nobody sayed it shouldnt be. But from FB, twitter to forums and email. We have stated long time ago that some cars wont be updated anymore. And there should be nothing wrong with that when the content from 6y ago done its part and im not talking about the money but about the quality it was used to be done back than.most modders who didnt update their mods for months was due to RF2 unstable and long time beta behaviour
but indeed a paid mod must be more mature while developing cause people spend their money and also like the more up to date feature to be in the same level as the main software
